Where is the calligraphy that Yongzheng gave to Thirteenth Master?

Anyone who has seen the Yongzheng dynasty is probably impressed by the thirteenth master. The loyalty of the 13th Master to Yongzheng and the indomitable spirit of suffering for many years are even more touching.

Historical dramas are not groundless, and the 13th master in history is indeed a famous person.

That's the prince of Huang En, the thirteenth son of Kangxi, and the half-brother Yongzheng. In history, Yongzheng and Brother Thirteen also had deep feelings. After Yongzheng became emperor, the thirteenth master was named Prince He Shuoyi, and later became the minister of deliberation. He is Yongzheng's right-hand man.

In the fourth year of Yongzheng (1726), Yong Zhengdi wrote a painting specially for Ye to show his deep love.

* * * Eight words "loyalty, sincerity, honesty, diligence and honesty". The inscription is "Prince Yi in July 4th year of Yongzheng", and the banner is covered with "Treasure of Yongzheng Imperial Pen".

These words are the best and highest evaluation of Ye's life. Therefore, this sentence is also engraved on the tombstone of Thirteenth Master.

You know, Yong Zhengdi is not as keen on inscriptions as his precious son Gan Long, and his reign time is only 13 years. Apart from all kinds of official documents, there are not many calligraphy works handed down. Small quantity, but high quality. His calligraphy was highly praised by the Qing emperor, and he was called "elegant, vigorous, wonderful and versatile".

Therefore, his handwriting is still very precious.

And the words he gave to the thirteenth master, of course, were treasured by the descendants of the thirteenth master for generations as a family heirloom.

It's a pity that during the Anti-Japanese War, a black sheep of Thirteen Master gave this family heirloom to the Japanese, and he was also the deputy commander-in-chief of the North China Army of the Japanese invaders.

What's going on here?

It turned out that this descendant was called Heng Duo, the eighth generation grandson of Thirteen Masters, and was then the garrison captain of Qing Xiling. Qing Xiling Mausoleum is located in Yixian County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, and Yong Zhengdi's mausoleum is also here. Originally, it was a much-told story, and the descendants of the thirteenth master continued to guard the mausoleum for Yongzheng. But this Hengduo did something that humiliated his ancestors.

1943, a Japanese major general named Nobukuro was transferred from the northeast to the North China battlefield as the deputy commander-in-chief of the North China Army of the Japanese invaders, and the Qing Xiling also happened to be under his jurisdiction.

As the captain of the Xiling garrison, Heng Duo handed this family heirloom to Vice Xiang Ye of Changde on 1945, and wrote an inscription on it. The contents are as follows:

Prince Yixian, the humble ancestor, the younger brother of His Majesty Yong Zhengdi. He was loyal to the monarch and filial piety all his life and was well-known in the DPRK. Therefore, he was given a royal book with the words loyalty, sincerity, diligence and honesty to show his wisdom and immortality. It really set a special honor record that has never been seen in history of qing dynasty. It has been preserved for more than 200 years and passed down from generation to generation. Because deputy commander Tian came to take charge of the hub and was repeatedly taught lessons, I was ashamed to respect him, but presented a royal book as a token of my heart. Your Excellency, Deputy Commander Gong Xianye. Dedicated by Heng Duo, captain of Xiling garrison.

The general meaning is to review the origin of this family heirloom, recall the great achievements of the thirteenth master, and feel the gratitude of Yongzheng. Then, he changed his writing style and began to bow down to the "wild deputy commander-in-chief", directly dedicating the family heirloom preserved for more than 200 years to the Japanese.

Of course, the Japanese were ecstatic and took the treasure back to Japan.

Later, Yongzheng's calligraphy works fetched a sky-high price of 9.43 million yuan at Beijing Poly Autumn Auction. According to the publicity of the auctioneer's works, it is the old collection of the Japanese Kwantung Army Major General Commander Changde Noboru, provided by his family.

According to this, this treasure was sold back to China by the Japanese.

In fact, this is not a family heirloom of the descendants of the Thirteen Masters, but also a precious cultural relic of our country. I don't know if thirteen masters, who are honest and upright, would be ashamed to betray their ancestors and win glory for future generations if they had knowledge under the spring?
