Rice cake is my favorite essay

The rice cakes are taller every year, white and fat, so cute. I have tasted the deliciousness of rice cakes for a long time, but I don’t know how to make them. But a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity came. Hehe, the one-day trip to the summer camp for young reporters from Yuyao Daily allowed me to find the answer.

During this summer camp, I caught small fish in the water, enjoyed the performance of the leaf flute with national characteristics, saw the huge waterwheel and the rainbow it created, and also played on the water with my friends. Happy fun in the paradise...but what impressed me most was the process of making rice cakes.

After questioning and careful observation of two master uncles, I learned that when making rice cakes, first soak the rice in water, and after a period of soaking, put the "rice fat man" into the big pot. Steaming, burning and burning, the "White Fatty" brothers hugged each other tightly and turned into a big pot of rice. Then they put the rice into a special container and beat it. The more they beat it, the stickier the rice became, and gradually it became A rice ball, with bursts of fragrance wafting into our noses, everyone couldn't help drooling, and really wanted to eat them all in one go.

After the rice balls were beaten, the two uncles made various shapes with their hands on the spot: there were round "Fat Man Rice Cake Balls" and thin and long "Mr. Rice Cake Strips" ... We all pounced over like hungry wolves, grabbed the rice cakes and stuffed them into our mouths. While eating, we couldn't help but say: "The rice cakes are so delicious!"

Happy summer camp activities are here. We ended with laughter, but the deliciousness of the rice cakes still stayed in my mind for a long time.
