Zhang Shilan information

Zhang Shilan (1920~1945) was originally named Li Yuanshao and used to be named Li Shaohua. Born in October in Xiaogou Village, Lidaowan, Rongcheng County, Shandong Province. When I was young, I studied in my hometown for seven years.

After the July 7th Incident broke out in 1937, Zhang Shilan joined the militia in his hometown and rose up to fight the war. Joined the Communist Party of China in December 1939. After joining the party, the party organized the division of labor and he was responsible for the anti-Japanese armed workers team in Lidao District. He led the armed workers team to carry out work in rural areas, quickly established farmers' anti-Japanese armed forces, carried out guerrilla warfare, and attacked the Japanese and puppet reactionary forces. In accordance with the division of labor of the party organization, he and his comrades actively mobilized young farmers in the countryside to join the militia and self-defense groups, and quickly established a peasant armed team. In 1941, when the Japanese invaders launched a large-scale raid on the liberated areas, he led the Lidao Militia and Self-Defense Group to launch a counter-mopping campaign to attack the enemy. In 1942, the Donghai Prefectural Committee of the Communist Party of China transferred him to Weihai and Yantai to do underground work for the party. In 1943, he participated in the first party consolidation training class of the Donghai Prefectural Committee.

In June 1944, the Jiaodong Prefecture of the Communist Party of China appointed Zhang Shilan to Dalian to take charge of the leadership and party building work of the Dalian branch of the Jiaodong Overseas Anti-Japanese Alliance Federation. He arrived in Dalian in August. After coming to Dalian, he successively promoted Song Tianpeng, the leader of the Dalian "Anti-League" branch, and others to join the Communist Party of China. He established a party group in the Dalian "Anti-League" branch and personally served as the leader of the party group. From then on, the Dalian "Anti-League" branch worked under the direct leadership of the party organization.

On August 22, 1945, after the Soviet Red Army liberated Brigade University, Zhang Shilan organized party members and members of the "Anti-Resistance Alliance" to write "Welcome the Soviet Army", "Celebrate the Liberation of Dalian", and "Praise *** "Communist Party, Eighth Route Army" and other large-character slogans to expand the political influence of the Communist Party and the Eighth Route Army; on the one hand, Yao Huazhi, a member of the "Anti-Alliance" branch, and others were sent to the Soviet Army Headquarters to establish contact with the Soviet Army. In order to strengthen the party leadership of the Dalian "Anti-League" branch, on August 26, he presided over the establishment of the general branch committee of the Dalian "Anti-League" branch of the Communist Party of China and served as the party general branch secretary. At the first general branch committee meeting, he analyzed the situation at that time and proposed three tasks: first, to establish the people's armed forces; second, to quickly establish contact with the Soviet army; third, to establish a nation-building alliance of workers, peasants, young women, and meeting to prepare for the establishment of people's political power.

In order to establish the people's armed forces, Zhang Shilan first led everyone to solve the weapons problem. He organized party members and members to collect weapons hidden by the Japanese army and weapons in the hands of enemy and puppet personnel. After everyone's efforts, in less than half a month, more than 90 long and short guns and several bullets were obtained from the dock warehouse and enemy and puppet personnel. On September 8, the "Anti-Legacy" held its first member representative meeting in two venues in Nanshan, Malantun. He and Zhang Shoushan presided over the meeting respectively. At the meeting, they announced their decision to organize the people's armed forces and called on members to actively join the army to defend the fruits of victory. On September 14, the "Anti-Alliance" gathered more than 600 people at the Wangjiagou Purification Pool and established a battalion (four companies) of the people's armed force, named the Fifth Detachment of the 18th Group Army, Jiaodong District, Shandong Province. He served as the detachment leader, and Zhang Shoushan served as the detachment's political instructor.

In order to obtain recognition from the Soviet army, Zhang Shilan personally went to the Soviet Army Garrison Command in Jinzhou to contact him. The Jinzhou Police Command recognized the armed forces of the Dalian "Anti-League" branch and promised to use the "Anti-League" armed forces to transform the Jinzhou Security Force. At this time, several unexpected situations occurred: First, "Commander Ji" (a Chinese) of the Xigang Garrison Command was dating the leader of the "Anti-Alliance" to meet with the Soviet commander. When Zhang Shilan met with him, he was not given the certificate because he did not have documents. Second, Zhang Bochuan, the chairman of the "Security Committee" in Malantun (formerly the Japanese and puppet chairman), was arrested and interrogated by the "Anti-Alliance" for carrying out reactionary propaganda and threatening the masses; third, Zhang Shilan sent Yu Honghai to the city to " When the "Vigilante Association" asked Chi Zixiang, the vice-president of the association, for food, he warned Chi. Therefore, the enemy puppets and the reactionary forces of the Kuomintang were extremely hostile to the "Anti-Alliance" branch. They took advantage of the fact that this team had not been recognized by the Soviet military authorities and the Soviet army did not know the truth, and falsely accused the "Anti-Alliance" branch to the Soviet Army Garrison Command in Shahekou. The armed forces are bandits. At 12:00 on September 24, the Soviet Army was deceived by the "Chinese People's Association" controlled by the traitor Zhang Benzheng and others. They went to the Wangjiagou Water Purification Plant to surround the location of the "Anti-Alliance" armed team, mistakenly killed Zhang Shilan, and disbanded the "Anti-Alliance" "Alliance" armed troops stationed in Wangjiagou. Zhang Shilan shouted "Long live the Communist Party of China!" when she died. She was 25 years old.

After Zhang Shilan died, the people in Wangjiagou, entrusted by Zhang Shoushan and led by Hu Wencheng, were filled with grief and indignation and buried Zhang Shilan's body at the foot of the west mountain of Wangjiagou.

After the Dalian Municipal Government was established, the murderer of Zhang Shilan fell into the people's court and was severely punished. In order to commend and commemorate Comrade Zhang Shilan, the Dalian Municipal Government awarded Zhang Shilan the title of Revolutionary Martyr. The Liaodong Overseas Anti-Japanese Alliance Association Liaodong General Association erected a stone tablet in front of Zhang Shilan's tomb to remember his life's achievements
