1On July 28th, 992, the third World Hong Men Conference was held in the United States. After two days' discussion by more than 100 delegates from all over the world, the Hong Men Federation was announced. The first President Li Zhipeng will be based in Honolulu, USA.
Why Hong Men? Some people say, "The Red Gate is the Han Gate. Due to the loss of soil in the Central Plains, the word' Han' (traditional' Han') is removed from' Middle Earth', which is the word flood. " Some said, "Because Ming Taizu's surname is Hongwu, he is named after Hongzi." According to Hong Men's Secret Book, the God of Hong Men is Zhu, the counselor is Zhu, and the general is Zhu's pseudonym. It first started in Fujian, with Shaolin Temple as its active organ. At first, Shaolin Temple was famous for its martial arts. Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty was jealous of them and ordered Shaolin Temple monks to go on an expedition to the Western Regions. Later, they came back victorious, but they used the incident to kill the hero Zheng Junda. He sent troops to burn the Shaolin Temple, and many monks escaped from it. One of them, Chen Jinnan, organized the Heaven-Earth Society and hoped to cultivate power to seek revenge. Five generals including Cai Dezhong, Fang Dahong, Hu Dedi, Ma Chaoxing and Li Shikai were sent to set up branches. This is the so-called "top five ancestors".
The origin of Hong Men varies from person to person, because there are too many aliases, including the Red Gang, the Three-Branch Society, the Triad Society, the Three Rivers Society, the Heaven and Earth Society and the Commune. There are also branch aliases, and the list goes on. But it is called "Heaven and Earth Society" externally and "Hong Men" internally. Because the Qing court killed hell to pay, a henchman of the Heaven and Earth Society, which had a wide range of implications, it often used Hong Men rally to secretly form associations. As for the source, it is inevitably complicated.
There are many opinions about the creation of Hong Men: First, it began on March 25th, 13th year of Jiayin, Kangxi (1674); One said it was July 25th, 12th year of Yongzheng Jiayin (1734). The above is based on Lu Si's Narration, a manuscript of the British Museum in London. First, it was initiated by the Red School and Bo School, descendants of Manluoli nationality in Fuyu Bohai Sea, and was reformed from SHEN WOO Dihuang Gaohong. One said that it was initiated by monk Honger. The above is based on the most widely circulated folk unofficial history records.

Sun Wen also has his own version of Hong Men, which is recorded in his Sun Wen Lun. The original text is as follows: "Hong Men was founded in the Ming Dynasty and began in the Kangxi period. Before Gai Kangxi, the heroes of the Ming Dynasty tried to recover, vowed not to be ministers, sacrificed their lives for justice, stumbled and struggled again and again, but their death could not save the Ming Dynasty. During the reign of Kangxi, the Qing Dynasty flourished, but faced with the loyalty of the Ming Dynasty, it was weakened and exhausted. 23. Seeing that the general trend has gone, the old people want to pass on the roots of nationalism to future generations, so they form a group with the purpose of fighting against the Qing Dynasty and regaining sight, so that those who can get up later can use it as funding. This is almost the original intention of Hong Men's creation. However, it must be extremely secret to prevent the government from noticing it. The servants of the husband's government are officials, and the eyes and ears of officials are gentry. Therefore, all so-called literati and the like should be taboo and strictly prohibited, so as to preserve their roots, and their power will last longer than that of foreign autocratic governments. In this case, what is the way to set up the meeting? It is also necessary to spread the idea of nation-state with deeds that can help the whole people's psychology. Therefore, Hong Men's visit is based on acting, which is the most impressionable view of the masses. He spreads his thoughts by injustice and revenge, which is the easiest for scholars to get bored and avoid. Its consolidation group, on the other hand, is given with fraternity, so that brothers and sisters can care for each other and help each other in times of trouble, which best meets the needs of homeless travelers in Jianghu. In the end, it is to spread nationalism in order to achieve its goal of anti-Qing and regaining sight. "
After arguing with royalists, Sun Wen felt that there were more overseas Chinese in the United States than in Honolulu. Prepare to go to the United States to publicize the revolution. He knew the power of overseas Chinese in the United States and wanted to join Hong Men. Therefore, Hong Men's predecessor, Sun Wen's uncle Zhong Shuiyang introduced him and resolutely joined Honolulu in the winter of 1903. On this day, there were more than 60 people worshipping the alliance at the same time. Occupation ceremony was held in Guoan Hall (Tongxing Company). And Sun Wen was named "Hongbang" by the main league members (the third person of Hongbang, responsible for law enforcement). It is said that the list of members who joined Hong Men at that time is now kept in Honolulu.
Welcome Sun Wen to San Francisco, USA. 90% of the local overseas Chinese attend the Hong Men court, and their headquarters is in San Francisco. Every port has its own division, and some royalists get in the way, almost forgetting the true colors of the anti-Qing dynasty and seeing the light of day again. Seeing this, Sun Yat-sen suggested holding a general registration of Hong Men to draft a new constitution for the court. Hong Men virtually became a revolutionary group. At that time, the general registration of Hong Men Zhi Gong Dang and Sun Wenzhong's new articles of association were of great significance to the revolutionary work of overseas Chinese living in the United States. Seventy thousand overseas Chinese in the United States donated about $210,000, which supported the urgent needs of Dr. Sun Yat-sen's domestic revolution. Overseas Chinese have made great contributions to the revolution of the motherland, so they are called the mother of revolution. Because 90% of overseas Chinese are listed as members of Hong Men, Hong Men can also be called the mother of overseas Chinese. Because overseas Chinese, without Hong Men, their national consciousness would not be so strong.
