Travel Notes of Hongluo Temple in Huairou District, Beijing

In Beijing, there is a saying that there are male dragons and female red snails. Why? The Lama Temple was once the place of two emperors, Yongzheng and Qianlong, so for men, career and rights are pursued more. As for Hongluo Temple, it has become a place sought after by many women. According to legend, it is more effective to seek marriage and children here. As for me, I have been longing for it for a long time, and today I got what I wanted to do and came to worship Buddha.

Hongluo Temple is located at the southern foot of Hongluo Mountain in the north of Huairou, Beijing, formerly known as "daming temple", and was renamed as "Fugu Temple for Protecting National Capital" in the Ming Dynasty, commonly known as Hongluo Temple. This temple was built by Buddha Tucheng, a monk in the fourth year of Xiankang in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (338).

at the end of the western Jin dynasty, Buddha tucheng, a monk from the western regions, searched for the birthplace of Buddhism in northern China because of his dream, but it was fruitless for 2 years. In the fourth year of Xiankang in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, he came to Yuyang City with Liao, the northern expedition section of Shi Hu, a post-Zhao dynasty, and found that the shape of Hongluo Mountain was like a Dapeng golden-winged bird with dancing wings, and there was a "touching the ground" image of the Buddha when he became a Taoist. This mountain is closely related to the holy religion, and shows the Buddha's instrument, which is just in line with his dream, so he founded this temple and named it "daming temple".

Hongluo Temple was founded in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. It is the birthplace of Buddhism in northern China and the largest Buddhist jungle. It has enjoyed a high status in Buddhism for more than a thousand years.

There is a road up the mountain in Hongluo Temple, which is called Guanyin Road. There are 33 Guanyin statues with different postures, and the characters "Guanyin Road" inscribed by Master Hongyi are built at the intersection. I walked up the stairs today, and I must worship every Guanyin statue I passed by. When I walked from the entrance to the end, I was sweating all over. When I knelt down and stood up and repeated my actions, I was silent all around, far away from worldly troubles and worries, and I was extremely comfortable in the mountains.

The purpose of people worshiping Buddha is not only to make a wish, but also to worship the Buddha in your heart. You kneel down to worship not only the clay tire, but also yourself. Right and wrong, good and evil, are all our own understandings and experiences. The Buddha said that all beings are equal when gambling, but where can anyone in life transform themselves? Even if there is, it is rare. Therefore, it is particularly important for us mortals to fend for ourselves at this time.

Today's trip to Hongluo Temple can be said to be an easy journey. I was in the green forest, climbed to the middle of Hongluo Mountain (temporary construction, not yet at the top of Zhongtianmen), and breathed fresh air with a big mouth, which was so cool.

By the way, Hongluo Temple is still far from downtown Beijing. Self-driving is appropriate. Stop at the entrance of 2 yuan. There is also a bus, that is, take the bus back and forth more often (train: take the S511 line at Qinghe Station to Huairou North Station (the ticket will show that there is no seat, and you can sit at will after getting on the bus. Everyone will have a seat. You can swipe your mobile phone card. It is not recommended to buy tickets in advance. It is more troublesome to return and change the ticket.) You can take a taxi after getting off. It is not recommended to take the bus here. It is a long time after the bus. It is still recommended to take Duyou bus), which is more troublesome. If you have a discount card, you can get a half-price ticket (adult ticket to 54 yuan) . This side is also very close to Yanqi Lake. I was going to turn in the past, but I was a little tired, so I went home.

There is a unique and simple and solemn beauty of Zen. Maolin xiuzhu, rare flowers and exotic flowers, the blue bricks and plain tiles under the shade of pine, cypress and bamboo blend with the garden forest, which becomes a quiet Buddhist country and a tourist attraction in the suburbs of Beijing. Recommend it!

The forest was located at 23:19 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 222 in the north of Gaomidian, Daxing District, Beijing.
