All successive mayors of Huanggang have been fond of naming "Yi'ai Lake Park". The name of "Legacy Love" has far-reaching meaning and is evocative! The people of Huangzhou can borrow the spirit of Dongpo, revive the spirit of legacy, and take a rest. It can be said that they achieve multiple things with one stone, so why not do it. In 2006, Mr. Liu Xuerong, the mayor of Huanggang City, paid a private visit incognito on his 40th day in office. The reason was that he had watched "Su Dongpo in Huangzhou" and appreciated Rao Xuegang's innovative thinking in naming "Yi'ai Lake Scenic Area" from the past to the present. On August 28 of the same year, the city government established the "Huanggang City Yiai Lake Protection and Management Project Construction Headquarters". Rao Xuegang was invited to write the "Chronology of Major Events in Su Dongpo's Deportation to Huangzhou", "The Structural Layout Plan of Yiai Lake Park", and Su Dongpo's Translation of "The Story of Yiai Pavilion" etc. After reading it, Mayor Liu wrote back: "Teacher Rao: The letter and attachments have been received. Very good, very satisfied. We will study it carefully and adopt it."
The evidence is solid. Yiai Lake was originally named by the contemporary Rao Xuegang. How did it become an ancient "romantic" lake name? How did it become the resurrection of Yiai Pavilion, the "collective name" of "descendants"? Whether people admit it or not? The "Yi'ai Lake Park" named by Rao Xuegang has long entered the history of Huangzhou and has entered the Internet page. There is only one Yi'ai Lake Park named by Rao Xuegang in Huangzhou in the past dynasties. This means that Rao Xuegang enjoys inalienable intellectual property rights.
