How did you come up with the place name Hegang?

The name of this place was originally called Xingshan. During the Japanese puppet period, the Japanese named this place Tsuruoka. There is a place in Japan called Tsuruoka. After the liberation, the Eighth Route Army came and took in many Japanese people to work. The Eighth Route Army from the south also called this place Tsuruoka. But the official place name at that time was still Xingshan City. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, around 52 years ago, Xingshan was renamed Hegang, but the "oka" was not used, so it had the same pronunciation as the Japanese place name but a different word. This story was told by the elders. Nowadays, many Japanese who have worked locally have returned to China, and there are very few left, including the old Eighth Route Army back then. I remember the story told by the elders. Back then, there was a story about a Japanese man named Kuroki at the Central Mechanical Repair Factory. He beat someone up and was sent to the prison cell. The next day, Military Control No. 8 Road had to ask someone to come out because the machine was broken. This Japanese guy knows how to fix it. Once he's done fixing it, give him a good meal and then send him back to his cell. 45 years later, it is because of the lack of talent that many Japanese are left working. The change of place names is related to these Japanese people.
