The Glass Plank Road is the Ghost Valley Plank Road hanging on the cliff in the Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area in Zhangjiajie. It is a large cross-valley suspension bridge with a total length of 536 meters and a width of 6 meters. It is also known as the "Yuntian Ferry". It is located in the Tujia Township of Sanguan Temple in Cili County.
It was built in 2014 and put into use on August 20, 2016. Since it set multiple world records for glass bridges, tourists flocked to it for a while. It has been operating at a limited capacity and is extremely popular. Mainly young tourists.
Traffic information to the Tianmen Mountain Glass Plank Road
Zhangjiajie Railway Station: Take bus No. 6 or 5 to reach the lower station of the Tianmen Mountain Cableway in 3 minutes.
Zhangjiajie Airport: Take bus No. 4 and it will take 5 minutes to reach the lower station of Tianmen Mountain Cableway.
Zhangjiajie Bus Station: Take bus No. 5 or 6 to get to the lower station of Tianmen Mountain Cableway within 3 minutes.
Urban area: Bus routes 4, 5, 10 and other buses can reach you directly.
