Classification method of "Kangxi Dictionary":
"Kangxi Dictionary" adopts radical classification method and arranges single characters according to strokes. The whole book is divided into twelve volumes, marked by twelve earthly branches. Each volume is divided into three volumes: upper, middle and lower, with a total of forty-two volumes, containing forty-seven thousand and thirty-five Chinese characters (47,035). "Kangxi Dictionary" was selected as the ancient dictionary with the most Chinese characters in China by the China World Records Association.
The content quotes ancient poems and articles to trace the origin of its word, and also notes its usage in various generations to support its changes.
