Hope to adopt it
In fact, there is no record in the official history. The following are basically unofficial histories or fabrications. The Romance of the Three Kingdoms says Guan Yu's daughter is Guan Feng.
Daughter: Guan Feng (Soochow once proposed marriage and was humiliated by Guan Yu, saying that the tiger girl An Ken would marry a dog)
Information;
Liu Bei was defeated by Cao Cao and went to Liu Biao's house as a guest. During this period, Guan Yu married a wife and gave birth to a daughter named Guan Xinghe. Guan Xing later had many deeds, but this Guan girl remained unknown. In line with the attitude of being responsible to the readers of the novel, let’s analyze Guan Junhou’s daughter.
Guan Yu's daughter is basically not introduced in "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms". It was only in Chapter 73 that Emperor Liu ascended the throne as Queen of Hanzhong and named Guan Yu the head of the Five Tiger Generals. At this time, Sun Quan sent people to Jingzhou to propose marriage, but Guan Yu sternly refused. Guan Yu said: "My tiger girl is willing to marry a dog!"
Liu Bei became king in the 24th year of Jian'an, which is 220 AD. It was roughly the same year that Sun Quan came to propose. Why do you want to propose this year? I think there are not only political factors involved here. A simple explanation is that Guan Yu's daughter is already 15 years old, and a 15-year-old girl with hairpins is old enough to get married. When Sun Quan heard about it, he immediately came to express his goodwill. Therefore, it is inferred that Guan Nu should be born in 205.
In folklore, the Guan girl is named Feng (the same is true in the Three Kingdoms game). I think this legend among ordinary people is correct. After all, people have sharp eyes. The second master named his daughter this name, which has some explanation. The second master himself has red phoenix eyes. It is with these red phoenix eyes that the king's appearance is more majestic. Therefore, this meaning must be grasped, and Guan Junhou will never neglect this point. Besides, the word "phoenix" sounds nice and has a beautiful meaning. Yes, let’s call it this!
There is another piece of stronger evidence. 205 is the Year of the Rooster, and Lord Guan is elegant. Even if he caters to the folk customs, he would not name a girl Guan Chicken or Guan Pheasant. The chick climbs up to the phoenix, so it is very appropriate to call it Guan Feng.
Also, why did Guan Yu get angry when Sun Quan came to propose marriage but he disagreed? Ordinarily Sun Quan's family background is higher than his, so why wouldn't he? I think there are at least two reasons here.
First, the customs at that time may be very similar to those now, that is, men are proud to marry foreign women, and those with higher family status are better. The previous experience is that Mr. Zhang married a woman from the Wei royal family named Xiahou, and Brother Liu married a woman from the Wu royal family and the sister of Sun Quan, the Lord of Wu. Out of the same consideration, when Zhao Xiao D saw that the person introduced was Fan, a girl from the same town, he felt aggrieved and turned against his newly sworn brother. He refused to agree and was equally angry. Guan Junhou thought that compared with others, he was much more useless. He married a local girl from Jingxiang and had no background, so his face was dull. That's fine. What's even more annoying is that the Wu people are also proud of courting foreign girls, and they actually do it to themselves. If this thing is going to happen, I don't know how the brothers will make it a joke. Thinking of this, how can the second master not be angry?
One more thing, Sun Ce was only 26 when he died. How old was Sun Quan? How old is his son? Needless to say, if Guan Yu's daughter gets married, she must be a child bride. Every child bride has a history of blood and tears, and the second master knows this in his heart. Thinking of this, he became furious again.
Then continue the research. What is the relationship between Guan Xing and Guan Feng? In the 73rd chapter of "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms", Zhuge Ziyu said: "I heard that Yun Changzi came to Jingzhou and Liu Bei married his wife. The husband had a son and the second had a daughter." There are signs that Mr. Guan Yu's son is Guan Xing. According to Zhuge Ziyu's introduction, Guan Xing should be Guan Feng's elder brother.
I have some slightly different opinions on what Teacher Zhuge Ziyu said. I infer that Guan Xing and Guan Feng were twins, born at the same time. It is hard to say whether Guan Xing is a brother or a brother. Guan Junhou named his son "Xing", which was very particular. The traditional form of "Xing" is "Xing", Cong Diao (*** Ju) and Cong Tong (Tong Li), which obviously means twins. It seems that Zhuge Ziyu's intelligence source has certain errors.
As an aside, the second master named his daughter Guan Feng. If they are twins, common sense says that the son should be named Guan Long, but Guan Xing must not be called Guan Long, not to mention violating Boss Liu's taboo. It's not convenient for Kong Ming to be there, and Zhao Yun will be even more uncomfortable after hearing this.
To balance all factors, it is most appropriate to call it "Xing". Guan Erye's knowledge in naming his children can't help but make people secretly admire him: he is indeed a loyal reader of "Spring and Autumn" magazine.
