This unit was established on the basis of the 25th Panzergrenadier Division retired from the Eastern Front. After arriving in the Netherlands in mid-September, 1944 was assigned to the 86th Army. After fighting with 10 1 Division and the Royal 44th Tank Regiment (TV series is a part of it), it withdrew to Germany and was dissolved in June 1 1, and the soldiers were reorganized into the new 25th Panzergrenadier Division.
