Three massage movements: pushing the two flanks separately, rubbing the upper abdomen with the palms, and pushing only the middle abdomen can regulate the imbalance between the liver and stomach, smoothen the liver qi, and nourish and protect the liver. 1. Push the two flanks separately
The action of pushing the two flanks separately is to push the flanks on both sides of the abdomen, that is, the location of the liver, up and down diagonally, and continue for 5 to 10 times. This can help you straighten your liver qi and improve the stagnation of liver qi caused by flatulence in the stomach and abdomen. By sitting or lying on your back, combined with the one-finger meditation method, push back and forth on the ribs on both sides, hold each group for 5 to 10 times, and change the speed from fast to slow when pushing. Alternate up and down. Since the two lobes of Chu are the main parts of the liver, the massage technique of surrounding and pushing the liver qi can help it disperse in all directions. 2. Rub the upper abdomen with palms
To care for the liver, you need to choose to get up early or do it late before going to bed. It is best to go to the toilet before a massage, empty your body of urine, and clean your hands. Choose a supine position, with your knees bent and your entire body in a relaxed state. During massage, place your left hand on your abdomen, palm facing your navel, and stack your right hand on top of your left hand. Massage around the navel fifty times in a clockwise direction, and then in a counterclockwise direction fifty times. When massaging, pay attention to breathing moderately and control the strength of your hands appropriately. The second method is to take a standing or supine position, relax the whole body, and overlap the two hands on the abdomen. Push slowly in three directions: left chest to navel, heart to navel, and right chest to navel. Each route lasts 15 minutes. The intensity should be kept moderate and the speed should be slow. Continue massaging until there is a slight feeling of heat in the abdomen and then stop. 3. Finger massage on Zhongwan
Zhongwan point is suitable for the treatment of digestive system diseases. The swollen knots caused by gastric distension can be cleared by massaging this area. Finger pushing Zhongwan refers to using our index finger and middle finger to overlap and hold the Zhongwan point, and slowly rub it. Each time it takes about 2 minutes, you will feel a slight soreness during the rubbing process, and gradually rub it. Afterwards, you will find a slight hiccup sensation in your body, the bloated feeling in your stomach will gradually be eliminated, and the symptoms of liver stagnation will also gradually improve.
