Research on the Publication of Bamboo Slips in Guodian Chu Tomb

From 65438 to 0998, the Cultural Relics Publishing House published the book Bamboo Slips of Guodian Chu Tomb compiled by Jingmen Museum. The preface of the book records that (Jingzhou Museum), Liu and Wang Chuanfu participated in the interpretation of Guodian bamboo slips. And Liu are responsible for the addition and annotation of bamboo slips. Peng Hao is in charge of the compilation of this book. Fang Beisong (Jingzhou Museum) and Xiong Liu are responsible for the protection of bamboo slips. The finishing work photos were taken by Jinling (Jingzhou Museum) and Zhou Guangjie. The photos used in Bamboo Slips of Guodian Chu Tomb were taken by Hao (Hubei Provincial Museum).

Qiu Xigui, an ancient philologist, examined and approved the manuscript, merged some remaining bamboo slips, adjusted the arrangement order of bamboo slips except Hook Yi, Five Elements and Lumu Official Document Zi Si, and adjusted the chapters of bamboo slips. In addition to correcting the technical problems, many suggestions and references are put forward. The author also included it in his notes in the form of "Autumn Press". At the end of 1994, Hubei Daily published another important discovery in the archaeological history of China-the earliest bamboo slips unearthed in Jingmen, Laozi and other ancient books, which revealed Guodian bamboo slips for the first time. 1July, 997, the report on the excavation of Guodian No.1 tomb was officially announced; 1998 In May, the book Bamboo Slips of Chu Tomb in Guodian was officially published in Cultural Relics Publishing House. Once these materials were published, they immediately attracted great attention from academic circles, and academic seminars and symposiums were held in various places to discuss the related issues of Guodian bamboo slips.

1998 In May, Dartmouth University held the world's first academic seminar on Laozi in Guodian. The meeting focused on Laozi and Taiyi Shengshui, and some papers were included in the book Guodian Laozi-Dialogue between Eastern and Western Scholars.

1999 10, "International Symposium on Bamboo Slips of Guodian" was held in Wuhan University. The conference focused on the explanation, editing and collating of bamboo slips, and the relevant achievements were compiled into the Proceedings of the International Symposium on Bamboo Slips in Guodian, which was published by Hubei People's Publishing House in May 2000.

The "International Symposium on Emerging Bamboo Silk" held in Peking University in August 2000 is a direct extension and continuation of the 1998 meeting.

200 1, 1, Shaanxi Normal University organized "Guodian Bamboo Slips and Historical Culture Seminar".

In June, 2003, on the 0/0 anniversary of Guodian Bamboo Slips, Jingmen Museum organized the International Symposium on Guodian Bamboo Slips. The collection of the conference was "New Knowledge of Ancient Tomb-Paper Album to Commemorate the 0/0 anniversary of Guodian Bamboo Slips", which was published by Hong Kong International Yanhuang Culture Publishing House in June, 2003.

In addition, Guodian bamboo slips are still the focus of academic attention at other bamboo slips and silk books research conferences. The research literature (up to 2000) compiled by Liao Mingchun in Guodian Bamboo Slips Catalogue (Revised Edition) has monographs (volumes) 17 and 345 papers. Limited by space, the entry only records part of the literature of the monograph (album).
