Yuanyuantang is the name of Mr. Feng Zikai's residence. 1924, Master Hongyi (Li Shutong, Mr. Kai Zi's teacher) traveled all over Shanghai and came to Feng Zikai's home in Li Yongyi. Kai Zi and Master Hongyi discussed naming his apartment. Master Hongyi asked him to write many words that he liked and matched with each other on a small square piece of paper. Many small paper balls were made, scattered on the altar in front of the statue of Sakyamuni, and the word "Yuan" was opened twice, so the apartment was named "Yuan Yuan Tang", and then Master Hongyi was asked to write a banner, which was mounted and hung in the apartment in Li Yongyi. This is the origin of the name Yuanyuan Hall. In fact, Yuanyuan Hall has no main hall, but a symbolic name. From then on, wherever Feng Zikai went, he hung his horizontal coat. Until 1933, he built a decent house in Shimen Bay, his hometown, giving Yuanyuanyuantang a real shape.
Mr. Kai Zi said in the article "My Comics": "After you get a theme, you can write essays if you want to express it in words, and cartoons if you want to express it in images." He often said: "Comics and sketches are twin sisters, either with lines or words, but with different expressive tools." The rambler is casual, so his essays can actually be called "rambling".
