1. From the surname Zi

The descendants of Kong Kui, a great official of the Wei Kingdom in the Spring and Autumn Period, took Kong as their surname.
3. Comes from the surname Gui
The descendants of Kong Ning of Chen State in the Spring and Autumn Period took Kong as their surname.
4. In the Spring and Autumn Period, a descendant of Duke Mu of Zheng was Kong Zhang, and his descendants took Kong as their surname.
Kong Di from Hebei Province is called the "Hexi School". Its founder is Kong Yingda, Confucius' thirty-first-generation nephew and a bachelor of literature in the Tang Dynasty.
