Naruto's name was given by Jiraiya.
Jiraiya guided Naruto in his practice and played an important role in Naruto's growth. Later, he went to Yu Ninja Village to spy on information, but unfortunately died at the hands of "Akatsuki" leader Payne.
Jiraiya’s identity
Jiraiya is the apprentice of the third Hokage, one of the legendary three ninjas, the fourth Hokage Namikaze Minato and the seventh Hokage Uzumaki Naruto is his apprentice. He was a hero in the Great Ninja War and one of the people who brought peace to Konoha.
In order to protect something that he did not hesitate to sacrifice his life, Naruto practiced hard beside Jiraiya. In the end, his efforts were rewarded and he learned the Rasengan and psychic techniques. Jiraiya is indispensable for Naruto's current achievements, because it was Jiraiya who taught Naruto what a ninja is and what kind of ninja path he should follow.
