When most parents choose a name for their baby, they will be curious about how many people in the country have the same name, and hope that the baby's name will not overlap with too many people. Or some people just want to know how many people in the country have the same name as themselves, so how do they perform a duplicate name query?
The Ministry of Public Security officially provides an online query system for the number of people with the same name and the same name in China (see the end of the article for the query entry).
Query steps:
Visit the public security department’s national identical name query system wizard page and click “Query the number of people with the same name”.
In the pop-up window, select "Nationwide" and click "Confirm".
At this time, you will jump to a login page. You cannot query without logging in. If you have registered before, fill in your ID number or mobile phone number, password, and verification code to log in. If you have not registered before, click "User Registration".
After clicking "User Registration", go to the "Personal Registration" page and fill in personal information as required, such as user name, ID number, mobile phone number, login password, etc. ( You can leave it blank if there is no *).
After completing the form, click "Register".
After clicking to register, real-name authentication is also required. Only after real-name authentication is the registration successful.
After registering an account, log in with the account you just registered. When logged in, click on "Check the number of people with duplicate names" mentioned at the beginning of the article to enter the national duplicate name query system.
Fill in the name you want to check, check the gender, fill in the verification code, and click OK to get the result.
The following is the number of people with the same name across the country who I randomly entered a name.
China has a large population, but there are only a few thousand commonly used Chinese characters, so people with the same name and surname are inevitable. A name is just a code for people to call you. If you choose some rarely used words for the sake of a unique name, it will be a small gain but a big loss, and it may even cause all kinds of inconveniences. Try to think about the dilemma of someone else trying to say your name but not knowing how to say it, or trying to write your name but not knowing how to write it. Therefore, when choosing a name, you don’t need to pursue absolute non-duplicate names. As long as the names are relatively different, for example, if you don’t encounter them that often or if you don’t know the same name among the people you know, that’s fine.
