"Yang Gong banned the sun": also known as the "Thirteen Bannings in Yang Gong", it is said that it was written by Yang Junsong, a geomantic master in the Tang Dynasty. Take 13 days of the year as unlucky days. Among the people, especially some old people think that Yang Gong is the most vicious and vicious bad day of the year, and it is also an extremely unlucky death day. It can be said that everything is taboo.
The origin of custom:
It started in Sanshui District. Legend has it that a long time ago, there was a man named Yang Gong who had thirteen sons. Everyone says that his life is good. Relying on his thirteen sons, Yang Gong often said to people, "I have thirteen sons, even if I encounter three disasters, I am not afraid. Even if one dies in twelve months and one month a year, I still have a son to die for me. "
Coincidentally, there was a plague one year, and this year happened to be a leap month. Yang Gong's sons got the plague and died one after another. By the end of1February, Yang Gong's 13 sons had all died, leaving him alone, and the scene at night was very bleak. People say that everything that happened to Yang Gong was because of his ugly words.
Later, the story spread more and more widely, and gradually people regarded the days when their old son died on the 13th of January, 11th of February and 9th of March as unlucky days, and named it "Yang". In the past, you couldn't go out these days. However, after several revisions, people now go out every day, and the statement about Yang Gongbi has gradually faded.
