1. Shamian
Shamian is an oval-shaped island with many unique European buildings at the end of the 19th century. It was once a concession of Britain and France, and later became the foreign affairs area of Guangdong provincial government. Now it is still semi-closed management, with traffic restrictions. It makes people feel very special to have such a place in the bustling Guangzhou City. Every building in Shamian has its own story. Although today's sand surface does not have the bustling scene of that year, we can feel the history of that year through these European buildings.
2. Baiyun Mountain
Although Baiyun Mountain in Guangzhou is not so famous in the world, it must be visited if you want to travel to Guangzhou or work and live in Guangzhou for a long time. As a national AAAAA scenic spot, Baiyun Mountain does have many remarkable points. From Guangzhou's Zhujiang New Town to Baiyun Mountain, you can feel the tranquility from high-rise buildings to virgin forests, and you will feel a kind of serenity and contentment in your heart. Baiyun Mountain has a total area of 2.98 square kilometers, and the main peak, Moxingling, is 382 meters high, with overlapping peaks and streams. You can overlook the whole city and overlook the Pearl River. Whenever it's sunny after rain or in late spring, the mountains are filled with white clouds and become a spectacle, hence the name of Baiyun Mountain.
3. Sacred Heart Cathedral in Stone Chamber
Religion is the destination of human mind, just like a harbor where ships need to dock. Although I am not a Catholic, I can feel a feeling of washing my mind every time I walk into the church. Guangzhou Catholic Sacred Heart Cathedral is located in Yide Road, Guangzhou. Because the church was completed on June 18th, 1863, it was named Sacred Heart Cathedral. There are two well-known Christian churches in Guangzhou, one is the Sacred Heart Cathedral in the Stone Chamber of Catholicism, and the other is the Dongshan Church of Protestantism, which is located in Temple Beitongjin in Laodongshan.
4. Guang Zhouta
Among the night scenes in Guangzhou, Guang Zhouta is the most splendid. Whenever night falls, Guang Zhouta is brightly lit, and colorful Guang Zhouta is very beautiful. Guang Zhouta, 6 meters high, is the first tourist tower in China and the third in the world, standing near Chigang, Haizhu District, Guangzhou. Guang Zhouta is also called "Little Man's Waist", and Guang Zhouta has successfully established a national AAAA scenic spot and become a landmark building in Guangzhou.
5. Baishui Village
Baishui Village Mountain is 828 meters high, and Baishui Village Waterfall has a drop of 428.5 meters, which is the largest waterfall in Chinese mainland. Baishui Village Scenic Area is a national AAAA scenic spot, among which the famous scenic spots are the White Narcissus Waterfall, the alpine lake and the first ladder on the south of the day. Walking into Baishui Village is like being in a paradise away from home, and you can feel the pleasure of being close to nature. Baishui Village is not only beautiful in scenery, but also has mountains and waters, which is one of the must-see spots for Guangzhou tourism.
