According to historical records, Qin Shihuang was born in Handan (now Hebei), the capital of Zhao State, and died in Dunyutai (now southeast of Julu County, Hebei Province).
Qin Shihuang (259 BC-2 BC10) was the first founding emperor of the Qin Dynasty to unify China. Later generations called it "an emperor through the ages." Last name won, Zheng Ming. Han nationality, the son of Wang Xiang in Qinzhuang, was born in Zhao, so his surname was Zhao (the surname was not unified in the pre-Qin period, so he was called Qin Shihuang). In 247 BC, Qin Shihuang 13 was king. In 238 BC, when Qin Shihuang was 2 1 year old, an adult coronation ceremony was held in the ancient capital Yongcheng. Since then, he has officially ascended the throne. At the age of 39, he has finally completed the great historical task of reunifying China and proclaimed himself emperor. In the first 247 years, the King of Qin ascended the throne, because the Queen Mother and Prime Ministers Lv Buwei and Lao Ai were in charge of state affairs at a young age. In the first 238 years (the ninth year of the King of Qin), the King of Qin ruled personally, getting rid of Lu, Mao and others, and reusing Lisi and Mao. From 230 BC to the first 22 1 year, the six countries of Korea, Zhao, Wei, Chu, Yan and Qi were destroyed successively, thus completing the great cause of reunifying the whole country and establishing the first unified and unified Qin Dynasty. He believed that his contribution was better than that of the previous three emperors and five emperors, and he called himself the "emperor". He has made outstanding contributions all his life, and he is also called "Qin Huang Hanwu" with Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty.
In October of the thirty-seventh year (2 10 BC), the first emperor went out to sea for a cruise. Li Si, the left prime minister, followed closely, and Feng, the right prime minister, went to stay in Beijing. Hu Hai, the youngest son, wanted to go on a cruise and asked to follow him. The emperor promised him. In November, I went to Yunmeng to worship Yu Shun in Jiuyi Mountain. Then take a boat down the Yangtze River, visit Keji, cross Haizhu (ZH incarnation, boiled), pass Danyang and reach Qiantang. When I reached the edge of Zhejiang, the water waves were dangerous, so I went west for 120 miles and crossed the narrow river. Climb Huiji Mountain, offer sacrifices to Dayu and overlook the South China Sea. There, people carved a stone and erected a monument to commemorate the achievements of the Qin Dynasty.
The first emperor returned and crossed the river from Jiangcheng County after Wudi. Go north along the coast and reach Langxie. The alchemist Xu Shi and others went to the sea to look for the fairy medicine, but they couldn't find it for several years. They spent a lot of money and were afraid of being punished. They lied: "Penglai fairy medicine can be found, but it is often troubled by big sharks, so it can't be reached." I hope the emperor will send someone who is good at archery with him. When they meet a big shark, they will shoot it with a crossbow equipped with organs that can fire continuously. " The first emperor dreamed of fighting Poseidon, who was shaped like a man. Ask the dreaming doctor to interpret dreams. The doctor said, "Water God is invisible. He used a big fish and a small dragon as a detective. Now that the emperor has made a thoughtful and respectful sacrifice, this evil god has appeared, and it should be removed before we can find the real good god. " So he ordered people who went into the sea to carry tools to catch big fish, and personally brought crossbows with mechanical devices, waiting for the big fish to come out so as to shoot it. I have never seen them from Langxie to Rongcheng Mountain. When I arrived, I met a big fish and killed one. Then it goes west along the coast.
Qin Shihuang fell ill when he arrived in Pingyuan Tianjin. The first emperor hated the word "death", and ministers dared not say anything about death. The emperor became more ill, so he wrote a sealed letter to his son Fu Su, saying, "Come back to Xianyang to attend the funeral and be buried in Xianyang." This letter has been sealed in the office of Zhao Gao, the official in charge of seal affairs in CRRC House, and has not been given to the emissary. On the third day of July, the first emperor died on the sand dune platform. Li Si, the prime minister, thought that the emperor had died in other places, and he was afraid that the governors and other places would take the opportunity to make changes, so he kept the matter secret and did not release the news of the funeral. The coffin was placed in a closed and ventilated car (wēn, Wen) and was buried with eunuchs favored by emperors in previous dynasties. Every time he arrived at the right place, he offered food, and the officials told the emperor the story as usual. The eunuch threw an approval in the car. Only Hu Hai, Zhao Gao and five or six favored eunuchs knew that the emperor was dead. Zhao Gao once taught Hu Hai to write and prison laws, and Hu Hai liked him privately. Zhao Gao secretly consulted with his son Hu Hai and Prime Minister Reese, and opened the letter that the emperor gave to his son Fu Su. Lied that Reese accepted the first emperor's testamentary edict in the sand dunes and made Hu Hai the prince. He also wrote a letter to Sun Su and Meng Tian, listing their crimes and ordering them to commit suicide. Keep walking, from Jingxing to Jiuyuan. It was just summer, and the emperor's body smelled bad in the cool carriage, so he ordered the accompanying officials to let them put a fishy abalone in the carriage, so that people could not tell the smell of corpse from the smell of fish.
March all the way, return to Xianyang from the straight road, and issue a funeral announcement. The Crown Prince succeeded to the throne and was the second emperor. In September, the first emperor was buried in Lishan.
