Names of China in different periods.
1949 after the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), the names are often related to historical events, with political overtones. There was the founding of the People's Republic of China in the 1950s, and there were anti-American, anti-imperialist, Cultural Revolution and Wei Hong in the 1960s. In 1970s, single names increased, including Niu, Hong, Hong and Wei. The English names after 1980 are all imitations, Liz and Jack, and the other is to use uncommon words. After 1990, many names of antique people appeared.
