At that time, relying on Li Dan's trust, Princess Taiping still had a strong influence in North Korea. Five of the seven prime ministers came from her door, and most officials were attached to her. She publicly proposed to abolish the emperor, but failed because of the opposition of Prime Minister Lu Xiangxian. Later, Li Dan planned to send Emperor Li Longji to Beijing to inspect the border, but it was postponed for some reason and the date was changed to August next year.
