Mountain of Bliss. Leshan can be represented by the name Mountain of Bliss. Leshan, known as Jiazhou in ancient times, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province. It is located in central Sichuan and the southwest of the Sichuan Basin. The terrain is high in the southwest and low in the northeast. It belongs to the mid-subtropical climate zone. Leshan is an important industrial city in Sichuan and a regional central city in the southern part of the Chengdu Economic Zone.
