The origin of Fangjia Village:

Fangjiazhuang was originally named Liujiazhuang and Sunjiazhuang. According to legend, in the early Ming Dynasty, in the second year of Hongwu, people immigrated from Sichuan to Shandong. A man surnamed Liu and Sun settled here and built a village, named Liujiazhuang and Sunjiazhuang. A man named Fang from Landi Commune in Congben County moved here to live. Due to the popularity of people named Fang, the population soon exceeded the Liu and Sun families. Therefore, Liujiazhuang was renamed the Western family, and Sunjiazhuang was renamed the Dongfang family. After liberation, they were collectively known as the Fang family.
