What's the name of the study?

Throughout the ages, most scholars have to give their study and studio an nickname, also called fasting.

Zhai Hao's name not only reflects the owner's personality and character, but also relates to the owner's feelings and hobbies. Before naming a name, the owner should repeatedly scrutinize the elegance and vulgarity of the name, deep and shallow, simple and complicated, stable and floating. Once the name is named, it will remain unchanged for life.

A few words have profound implications, which are the external confession of the owner's ambition and accomplishment, the test standard of others' observation and behavior, and the unified embodiment of the vegetarian's external image and internal accomplishment.

According to historical records, Zhai Hao originated in the Jin and Tang Dynasties, prevailed in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and was passed down from generation to generation.

We call this study a study because the original meaning of "fasting" means fasting. The ancients thought that reading was a pure-hearted thing and should be pious, so the study was named after Duozhai. For example, Zhao Wenzhai by Wang Anshi, Liao Zhai by Pu Songling, Holding the Disabled and Keeping the Lack of Zhai by Liu E, and Kuyu Zhai by Zhou Zuoren.

Zhai Hao's writing structure is partial, the first half is content, and the second half is Zhai's architectural style. Its content is organized in various forms, with randomness and uncertainty.

Useful quantifiers and nouns are combined together, such as San Mo Tang by Zhu Qizhan, a hundred-year-old painter; Si Ou Tang by Wu Hufan, a Shanghai painter; Eighty-seven Immortals Hall by Xu Beihong, a great painter; and Hundred Fans Zhai by Xu Xiaonong, director of China Fan Studies. Useful adjectives, such as Deng Sanmu's "Three Longs and Two Shorts", Fei Guangde's "Zhai Chunhua", a member of China Book Association; Useful nouns, such as Lai Shaoqi's "House is made of wood and stone", become the window of literati monologues. Its content is rich in philosophy and personality, simple and colorful, and contains profound cultural connotation. It is a wonderful flower in the traditional culture of China.

Literati often change Zhai Hao's name with their ambitions, hobbies, emotional interests, career and family, economic conditions, etc. Every time a new Ramadan is opened, it describes the new artistic conception of vegetarians. For example, Qi Baishi's Bamboo House, Borrowing a Mountain Pavilion, Borrowing a Mountain Pavilion, Jipingtang, and Eight-inkstone Building.

Throughout the ancient and modern literati, the author divides them into the following types according to the artistic conception expressed in the content:

(a) the description of the world, with the description of family background and life experience as the topic. Shen Junru, one of the Seven Gentlemen, was born in a family of seven generations living under one roof. He has been friends with stones all his life. He said in a poem, "I have filled my house and slept peacefully in the stone" and took the name of "living with the stone" to express his love for the stone all his life and his feelings of playing with stones and hiding stones with stones. Tao Yuanming, a poet in Jin Dynasty, was nicknamed Mr. Wu Liu. Their descendants moved from Xunyang, Jiangxi Province to Yan Jun Lane, Zhenjiang in the Ming Dynasty, and gradually developed into a giant in the silk industry with the manual labor of "winding silk", so they took the name of Wuliutang to show their inheritance and admiration for their ancestors.

(2) Narrating aspirations and volunteers. As early as the 1940s, during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, the painter Li Keran lived in the rural area of Jingangpo, Chongqing. When he observed and painted cows, he was moved by their hard work and dedication. After liberation, he named his studio "Shi Niu Tang", taking painting cows as a lifelong pleasure and taking "bowing down as a willing cow" as a lesson. Gong Wang, a calligrapher in Tianjin, is honest, disregarding social customs and unwilling to do anything far-fetched. With Fu Shan's motto of "Ning Zhuo is not clever, rather ugly than flattering, rather piecemeal than smooth, rather straightforward than arranging" in "Writing Words to Show Children and grandchildren", the study was named "Sining Caotang", which was pun intended and vivid. (3) Describe the category of reason, with the topic of expressing truth and philosophy. Ji Xiaolan, a great scholar in the Qing Dynasty, was knowledgeable. He knows astronomy and geography above and the sufferings of the people below. His knowledge and moral character are deeply admired and loved by ministers and people. However, he named his study "Yuewei Caotang" and told himself to comfort others, to see more small things, to see the big things in small things and to see the big things in small things.

(4) Describe the event, with the topic of expressing career and deeds. The famous poet Qiao Yu's "Habitat" seems incomprehensible at first glance, but once introduced, it is admirable. The reason for this is that many people come to ask for advice with their newly created lyrics. There are both new friends and old friends among the tourists, and they come here with admiration. Mr. Qiao gave a warm reception without discrimination, but after reading it, the answer was the same word "Yes". Writing lyrics itself takes a lot of effort. "Yes" can inspire people to keep working hard, "No" can make people frustrated and lose confidence. During the reign of Qianlong and Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty, Zhang Yanchang, a famous seal engraver of Zhejiang School, brought Shi Guwen of Qin Dynasty copied by Ningbo Tianyige Library back to Haiyan's hometown to continue his research. He copied ten stone drums of Qin Dynasty with reference to the original, rubbed them around day and night, and named his study "Stone Drum Pavilion" to express his love for the cause of stone printing and reflect his achievements in studying Shi Guwen. (5) Narrating interest, taking expressing interest and teasing as the topic. Wang Yaoqing, a famous place in Liyuan, likes to collect antiques, jade, snuff bottles and celebrity calligraphy and painting. A famous Peking Opera performer and educator, he has the reputation of "Tianshi" in Beijing Opera. But he named his study "Gufuxuan" to show his love for collecting ancient jade. Before and after liberation, "Gufuxuan" almost became a meeting place for theaters and literary and art circles, and "Gufuxuan" also became the established alias of Wang Yaoqing. Wu Shousong, a binding artist, takes the homonym "three pools mirroring the moon" in Lu Xun's novels as his name. Whenever someone asks him what he wants, Mr. Wu always answers with a smile, "The party didn't join the party, the officials didn't do it, and the money didn't make it", which hides the bitter story of Zhai's career and makes the spectators laugh and think.

(6) Narrating emotions, with the topic of expressing feelings and emotions. Huang Zongjiang, a film artist, wrote: "A book has three nests, but there is no fasting", which means that a house has three houses and a house has books. Although there is no fasting, it is worthwhile to study. Expressed the love of books and reading. After Zhenjiang painter Liu Ergang moved to Nanjing, he named his studio "Wumengzhai", explaining that he must take a nap after lunch every day, which is not long and he often dreams.

(7) Describe the category of mind, with the topic of expressing mentality and mood. The joys and sorrows of the world will also be reflected in the literati. Scholars can borrow a couple from the study, speak with fasting, express their joy and vent their depression. Lin Yutang was influenced by the Confucian thought of "doing something" and appreciated the Taoist philosophy of "doing nothing". His attitude towards life is to insist on "doing something", but he often doesn't do something, so he takes "doing something for fasting" as a sign to show his persistence in Mencius' mentality of "doing something for those who don't do it".
