YOUNG-G, whose real name is Zhang Hang, was born in Chongqing on February 6, 1991. He is a male pop singer in Mainland China.
In 2010, he won the championship in the Chinese division of South Korea's SBS TV music talent show "Kpop Star" and signed a contract with YG FAMILY, thus starting his training career as a Korean trainee[1]. In 2013, he released his original single "MY NAME I$ YOUNG-G". In 2016, he participated in the recording of Hunan Satellite TV's interactive music program "I Want to Sing with You" [2]. In 2017, he participated in the Mango TV talent show entertainment program "Happy Boys" and finally won the runner-up in the national finals[3]; on December 24, he released his original single "HU$TLE"[4]. On January 13, 2018, he won the Most Promising Male Singer of the Year Award from Changba Hidian; in March, he participated in the iQiyi variety show "Hot Blood Street Dance Team" and joined the team of William Chan and Victoria Song[5]. On December 18, 2019, he won the Asia's Most Performant Singer Award at the 2nd Asian Celebrity Festival[6].
