Among the strange stones in Huangshan Mountain are flowers blooming from dream pens, immortals guiding the way, flying stones, old monks collecting herbs, and monkeys watching the sea.
1. Flowers in Mengbi
In the crevices of the rocks at the top of the peak, there is a wonderful ancient pine, circling and twisting, covered with greenery, like a blooming flower. There is a strange stone at the foot of the peak, which looks like a person lying down and sleeping. Therefore, tourists call this scene "Dream Pen Flowers" and it is a scenic spot in Huangshan Mountain. Next to the pen peak are the pen stand peak and the rising peak.
2. The Immortal Guide
The Immortal Guide is located at the intersection from Yungu Temple to Pi Peng. A strange stone stands on the top of the peak. It looks like an immortal wearing a Taoist robe. He raises one hand as if to guide tourists into the leather tent, so it is called "Immortal Guiding Stone", also known as "Immortal Guiding Peak". It is famous not only because of its similar appearance, but also because of a story that is quite inspiring to the world.
3. Feilai Stone
Feilai Stone is located on a flat rock in Pingtianxi, Huangshan Scenic Area, Anhui Province. It is formed by natural weathering. The contact surface between the two rocks is very small, and the upper rock seems to fly from the sky, hence the name "Flying Rock". Geologists believe that the spectacle of flying rocks was formed during the process of geological changes, and it is truly a creation of nature.
4. The Old Monk Gathers Herbs
The Old Monk Gathers Herbs is located in the Yungu Scenic Area of ??Huangshan Mountain in Anhui Province. Under the two cats catching mice, there is an upright strange rock, which looks like a monk wearing cassocks; in front of it is a strange pine tree, which looks like gathering medicine, so it is named "Old Monk Gathering Medicine".
5. Monkey watching the sea
On a flat-topped mountain in the north of Lion Peak, there is a strange stone, which looks like a monkey squatting and quietly watching the rise and fall of the sea of ??clouds. It is called "Monkey watching the sea". When the clouds and fog dissipated, the stone monkey once again seemed to be overlooking the green fields of Taiping County (now the Huangshan District of Huangshan City), so it was also called "Monkey Looking at Taiping".
