Hong Kong offshore company names are available in English only, Chinese only or both. The company's English name must end with "LIMITED", while the Chinese name must end with "Limited Company" and must be in traditional Chinese characters.
If the company name contains words or expressions specified in an order issued under Section 22B of the Companies Ordinance, such as "trust", "chamber of commerce", etc., it must first obtain approval from the Registrar of Companies. Restrict any offshore company name that is the same as or similar to an existing company.
