Which city is Dajiangjia Village located in?

Dajianjia Village is located more than 10 miles southwest of the Beigou Town Government Residence. It is bordered by Daqi in the north, hills in the east, and Huangxian Plain in the west. The Weiyang River flows through the village in the south, and a main road passes through the village. Pass. It is a well-known well-off village. There are now more than 300 households and more than 800 people. The surname Jiang accounts for the majority, and there are also surnames such as Wang, He, Guan, and Diao.

During the Chenghua period of the Ming Dynasty (around 1465), there were serious natural disasters, low productivity levels, government exploitation, and natural disasters in Xiaoyunnan, Shanxi. People lived in extreme poverty and were in dire straits every day. struggle. Forced to have no choice, a branch of the Jiang clan decided to move eastward. Under the leadership of the clan leader, they dragged their children with them, endured hunger, fled famine and begged for food. They left their homes and traveled long distances to find the ideal "paradise", a place with mountains and rivers, fertile land and beautiful mountains and rivers to survive. After many twists and turns and long journeys, I finally arrived at Jiangjia Dianzi in Huang County in the year of Tianqi and reluctantly settled down. Later, because this place is located in a mountainous area, the land is barren, the wind and rain are irregular, the food produced cannot meet the needs of life, and basic life cannot be guaranteed. The four Jiang brothers (Jiang Yin, Jiang Yi, Jiang Xue, and Jiang Chun) discussed and said: "If you move a tree, you will die, and if you move it, you will live. You cannot just hang yourself on a tree." So they decided to continue moving eastward. This time, their family moved to the east end of Zhuyouguanbei Village and settled down temporarily. After two consecutive good years, life gradually improved. The Jiang brothers also built a temple in the east of the village to pray to the gods for good weather, a peaceful life and a good harvest. This temple is commonly known as the Jiang Family Temple. However, in feudal society, due to the influence of feudal patriarchal concepts, struggles between clans often occurred. The Jiang brothers lived here and lived a prosperous life, but they were ostracized and bullied by foreigners in the west of the village, and they often had violent fights. A few years later, after everyone discussed it, they felt that it would be difficult to live here for a long time, so they began to move north again.

When we arrived at the Bohai Sea, we put down our burdens, built a hut, and made a living by farming and fishing. In the blink of an eye, several years passed. When going fishing, they often settled on a small island in the sea called Salmon Island. It was sparsely populated, far away from the world, and far away from the government. It was a good place to settle down, so the Jiang brothers moved to Salmon Island to settle down. Live a free life of fishing and hunting on the island. One year, the government sent some prisoners serving their sentences to Salmon Island, mainly to prevent prisoners from escaping and to strengthen the management of criminals. The Jiang brothers were forced to leave the island, land at Penglai Port, and walk west along the seaside. When we walked to Beigou Nan Dagang, we looked up and looked south. A flat terrain with lush vegetation, lush branches and leaves, and a fertile wasteland appeared in front of us. It was very suitable for reclaiming wasteland, farming, and building homes. Everyone worked together, built a simple shack, and lived a peaceful life. From then on, he worked at sunrise and rested at sunset. First, he opened more than ten acres of land behind the shack and named it "Behind the shack". Through intensive farming and hard work, life has been improved. Then a few more acres of land were opened to the west of the "behind the shack" and named "the first row of land". Subsequently, "seed land", "water ditch land", "Xiaodaoxi", "large land", "long strip", etc. were opened up one after another, and another land was opened in the south of Daqi called "Qianxia". These place names are still in use today.

After a while, people discovered that the winds in Daqi were strong in winter, and thatched houses had poor wind and cold resistance. Moreover, there was a relatively gentle slope to the south of Daqi, with a wide valley at the bottom. A large river, the Weiyang River, flows through the valley bottom, and a lot of land can be reclaimed on both sides of the river. This place is close to the water, facing the sun, and is a geomantic treasure. The Jiang brothers moved their family to "Qianxia", where the village is now. In order to facilitate farming, the fourth child later moved to live by the Weiyang River and named it "Xiao Jiang's Family". The place where the eldest, second and third child lived was naturally called "Big Jiang's Family".

After the Jiang brothers settled down, they multiplied, increased their population, and expanded their scale. Later, more people discovered this good place on both sides of the Weiyang River, and eight more villages were located on both sides of the Weiyang River. Dajiangjia Village is located exactly in the center of these eight villages, just like the stars holding the moon. According to the "Jiang Family Genealogy": During the Chenghua Period of the Ming Dynasty, the Jiang family's ancestors immigrated to Zhuyouguan and Huangjiadian in Huang County. Later, the four brothers moved from Huangjiadian to Changshan Island, and then settled in Penglai. The eldest and three brothers of the Jiang family live in Bei'an Village and are called the Dajiang family. The fourth child lives alone in the southwest and makes his home, which is called the Xiaojiang family. It has continued for more than 20 generations and more than 500 years.

According to the Jiang family, a lot of people from the Jiang family came to Guandong to make a living in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. Most of them relied on hard work to earn some hard-earned money to support their families, and a few people encountered opportunities and made some progress. It is said that there are three levels of people who enter Guandong: the first-rate people are shopkeepers; the second-rate people learn crafts; and the third-rate waiters show their strength. It reflects all aspects of life and society at that time. People of the Jiang family are relatively shrewd, and many of them are doing well. As soon as they have savings, they go back to their hometowns to build houses and land. Until now, there are still more than a dozen old houses in the late Qing Dynasty style in the village, standing firmly on the street at the entrance of the village, showing people the special historical features of that period.

There was a large Guandi Temple in the village in ancient times, but now only a few scattered ancient foundation stones, broken bricks and tiles remain. Emperor Guan Sheng is the god of martial wealth and loyalty worshiped by the people. It was once a spiritual palace where villagers worshiped, burned incense, and prayed for blessings and peace for generations.

When the land was being renovated in the 1960s, more than ten "oil basket tombs" were discovered around the village. Most of them were built with large diamond-shaped bricks and dome-roofed tombs. There were no traces of coffins in most of the tombs. There are lying bones, and occasionally there are piles of bones sitting down. Some gold and silver jewelry, copper coins and the like were unearthed in some tombs, but most of them were only pots, bowls and pottery. For this type of tomb, it is mostly said that it is the "Qiuzi Tomb" of the Song Dynasty. It shows that humans have lived and multiplied here for a long time, but for unknown reasons, they left this place.

In the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, more than ten people from the Jiang family joined the army. At that time, they took a sampan from Luanjiakou and risked their lives by drifting across the sea to Zhuang River. Then they went north across the river and were divided into a regiment. One of them died on the battlefield.

The Jiang clan is hard-working and simple. In this land with beautiful mountains, clear waters and outstanding people, they have reaped the fruits of victory with their hard work, and the villagers live happily. Dajiangjia Village used to be a poor mountain village. After the reform and opening up, the Dajiang family, under the leadership of village cadres, bravely set the trend and dared to be the first, vigorously developed the planting industry, planted new grape varieties, obtained higher returns, got rid of poverty earlier, and lived a well-off life. Life. Looking forward to tomorrow, Dajiangjia Village will be built into a better place, and people’s lives will be better.
