How to determine whether business names are duplicates or not?

Enterprise names only need to be non-duplicate within the same geographical scope (such as province, city, county). Even if the same name is in the same region but not in the same category, it is not considered a duplication.

According to the provisions of Chapter 2 of the "Implementation Measures for Enterprise Name Registration Management"

The name of an enterprise's legal person shall not contain the name of other legal persons, unless otherwise provided by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce. A business name cannot contain another business name.

The name of an enterprise branch is preceded by the name of the enterprise to which it belongs. The company name should use Chinese characters that comply with national standards, and Chinese pinyin letters and Arabic numerals are not allowed.

If the enterprise name needs to be translated into a foreign language for use, the enterprise shall translate and use it by itself according to the principle of text translation, and does not need to report to the industrial and commercial administration authority for approval and registration.
