Do snakes eat frogs?

Eat, snakes and frogs are natural enemies. Snakes are carnivores, and they eat many kinds of animals, ranging from invertebrates (such as earthworms, spiders, various insects and their larvae) to various vertebrates (such as fish, frogs, toads, lizards, snakes, birds and small mammals). Snakes only prey on lively animals.

Snakes eat many kinds of animals, but not every kind of snake eats these animals. Every kind of snake is selective to the animals it preys on, so the kinds of food it eats are different. According to the characteristics of snake predators, they can be divided into two categories: wide food and narrow food.

Omnivorous snakes prey on various animals. For example, pythons not only prey on small animals such as frogs, snakes, birds and mice, but also on large animals such as muntjac, deer, pigs and goats. Cobra, bamboo leaf green and viper also prey on fish, frogs, lizards, snakes and birds.
