In AD 25, Liu Xiu, Emperor Guangwu of Han Dynasty, established the Eastern Han Dynasty and appointed Yan Guang for many times. However, Yan Guang lives in seclusion beside Fuchun River in Tonglu and fishes every day. Yan Guang's thoughtfulness of not caring about fame and fortune has always been praised by later generations, who named his fishing place Yanling Sese.

In A.D. 143, Cao Ejiang was named after Cao E, a girl from the Eastern Han Dynasty, who threw herself into the river to save her father. The East China Sea of China flows into the largest tributary of Qiantang River alone.

1290, in central Henan province. The warring States period was called gorge, and the Han dynasty was called wandering canal; Cai He in Tang and Song Dynasties; Jia Lu, doctor and general manager of the Ministry of Industry in Yuan Dynasty, made great contributions to river regulation. In memory of him, he was renamed Jia Luhe.

Eight, "Peng Yuepu"

A.D. 1299, a tributary of the Huangpu River in Shanghai, was called "Overlord Tide" at that time, when the tide was often fierce as a beast. People believe that only the king can subdue the flood and bless peace. In the name of Liang Wang in the Western Han Dynasty, it was called Pu and Peng Yuepu. Wang Peng Temple was built on the bank of Pudong, Peng Yue. The statue of Peng Yue, the King of Liang, is to help people worship and seek happiness.

Nine, "Xiao Taihou River"

In 986, Xiao Taihou River in Tongzhou, Beijing was the earliest artificial canal in Beijing. Xiao (known as Shi) was the mother of the saints in Liao Dynasty. She camped in Beijing in the Northern Song Dynasty. After a period of water shortage, the officers searched for water for a long time and finally found a river. Xiao Taihou praised the water after drinking it, so he asked the name of the water. Officials reported that it was an unnamed river and she ordered it to be named after her.

In 2020, Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province, Pingshui River tributary "Xiaohe". It starts from Nanmu Village in Anyuan District in the east, flows through Jiangjiawan, Yangjiawan, Xiangxing Bay, Sanwan Road and South Ring Road, and finally flows into Pingshui River from Dongmen Bridge in Hengtong South Street, with a total length of about 23 kilometers.
