Is it good to stress the names of children and elders?

actually, this is just the opinion of some old people. We don't have the same name as our elders to show our respect for them. We pay attention to each place, and we don't know where you are from. In our local dialect, we often stress, but it's nothing if the middle word is heavy. Now kindergartens, schools and children are all speaking Mandarin, so we should call our children's names in Mandarin as much as possible. At first, our family will care a little, but after a long time, we won't say anything. It's just a traditional thought in it. I feel disrespectful when the names of the younger generation are called with the names of the younger generation, and it's okay for the children.
