The origin of the Jiuzhitang brand
In 1650 AD, an old man named Lao Cheng came to the ancient city of Changsha and opened a restaurant on Pozi Street. A small medicine shop, and made a promise: Make a wish to use your limited power to save all living beings in the world. Lao's descendants inherited the ancestral business and worked hard to manage it. They were inspired by a dream in which they saw nine Ganoderma lucidum growing out of the osmanthus tree in the courtyard, so they named the pharmacy Lao Jiuzhitang.
