At the end of the Shang Dynasty, King Wen of Zhou arose in Qishan, Shaanxi Province, and granted his concubine Si the title of Zhao. Among them, they moved north to Zhaoyuan in Yuanqudong, Shanxi Province, then northeast to Gu Laishui City in the north of Yixian County, Hebei Province, and then moved southeast to Shao City in Huimin, Shandong Province. These are all relics of the Zhao people's migration. Ji's surname Shao also has a history of 3100 years.
3. Change of surname from foreigners.
It is rare for people with the surname Shao to blend in with foreign ethnic groups. Only during the Qing Dynasty when the Wuya clan in the Eight Banners of Manchuria changed their surname to Han, some people adopted the surname Shao, and most of the people later converted to Han ethnicity.
