It is said that a long time ago, a dragon was injured and fell into Mangka Manchu Township in Jiutai City, unable to move. Due to the sun and lack of rain, the dragon was dying. After hearing the news, the local people spontaneously came to build a arbor for the dragon to protect it from the sun, and watered it in turn every day. After 7749 days, the dragon was walking around in clouds. In order to thank these kind people for saving their lives and bless their happiness and peace, it threw one of its own dragon balls on the pine ridge in Hujiaqing, Jiutai City. Soon, the dragon ball became an elm tree, which was as long as a dragon, and it would cry in the dog days.
Later, people named the place where Tianlong was recuperating as the Dragon shed, and the tree changed from the Dragon Ball as the Tree of Peace. For hundreds of years, people from all over the country came to pay homage on the first and fifteenth days of the first lunar month, begging for peace, family happiness and all the best.
