Are Dai Yu's five beautiful songs complete
Xi Shi, Yu Ji, Ming Fei, Green Pearl and Hong Fu ... After writing five songs in a row, Lin Daiyu felt a little sleepy and fell asleep. Jia Baoyu came here, and after reading the poem, he could not say anything, entitled "Five Beautiful Songs".
1. Five Beautiful Songs is an unfinished work. Lin Daiyu is thinking of more than five women. Try to figure out their creativity, and there may be more. Because she didn't finish writing, she was "disturbed" by Jia Baoyu, and the name has been decided. It's Five Beautiful Songs, so just forget it and don't write it. If it weren't for Jia Baoyu's "making trouble", it might be Eight Beautiful Songs, Ten Beautiful Songs, or even more.
Second, the five women in Five Beautiful Songs are listed in the order of dynasty alternation and historical development, from Xi Shi in the Spring and Autumn Period to Yu Ji in the Chu and Han Dynasties, from Ming Fei in the late Western Han Dynasty to Green Pearl in the Western Jin Dynasty, to Hong Fu in the Sui and Tang Dynasties, and from the end of slave society to the heyday of feudal society, which shows the track of historical development completely.
Third, the five women sung in Five Beautiful Songs are not real figures in history, nor are they folk legends or figures in a literary work, but are based on the name of a historical figure or the framework of a story, and are composite fictions of historical figures, legendary figures and literary figures. (fortune-telling)
Fourth, the five women in "Five Beautiful Songs" are tragic figures who are completely materialized, enslaved and instrumentalized by male chauvinism except for their "talent". Xi Shi and Ming Fei have a lot in common. They are both a pawn and a bargaining chip in the political struggle between emperors, and they are forced by the ruling class to embark on the tragic road of life. Afterwards, one of them drowned in the river and the other buried in the "green grave" to carry out their personal life tragedy to the end. The key of Lvzhu's life tragedy is female * * * official doctrine, and she is willing to be a man's appendage. She is a woman who has been completely enslaved in thought and action. She was originally a "pearl", but was regarded as "rubble" by Shi Chong. Finally, she committed suicide by falling from a building for Shi Chong. She thought it was "favoritism", but in the eyes of others, this feat was just "martyrdom". Yu Ji's tragedy lies in that she chose a "mentally impotent man" who looks tough on the outside but is very weak on the inside. After the defeat, Chu songs were everywhere, and Xiang Yu fell into a desperate situation in life. First, he said "helpless" to his mount, then to his beloved princess, and finally, under the supervision of Xiang Yu, he committed suicide by drinking his sword in the "Chu account". Hong Fu's tragedy is manifested in her first half of life. In order to survive, she followed a zombie man who was "dead and angry", was occupied by the cold and ugly Yang Su, and made a compromise under the coercion and inducement of Yang Su, wasting her youth.
5. The Story Of Diu Sim in The Romance of the Three Kingdoms is ahead of the Green Pearl in the Western Jin Dynasty in terms of age; As far as beauty is concerned, it ranks among the four great beauties in ancient China, but it does not occupy a place among the "talented" women praised by Lin Daiyu. This is for a reason. People with a little knowledge of history should know that the original meaning of "The Story Of Diu Sim" is the hat ornaments of attendants in the Han Dynasty, not her name. In all official documents and ancient books, there is no record of The Story Of Diu Sim. In the biography of the Three Kingdoms-Lu Bu, only the historical fact that Lu Bu had an affair with Dong Zhuo's maid was recorded-"Zhuo often keeps the cloth in the cabinet, and the cloth has an affair with Zhuo's maid-in-waiting, and he is afraid of finding out, and his heart is uneasy"; The historical fact that Dong Zhuo angered and stabbed Lu Bu is also found in the "Three Kingdoms-Lu Bu Biography"-"Zhuo was just arrogant, angry and frustrated, and he threw his halberd at the cloth and avoided it with his fist." It can be seen that the contradictory information between Dong Zhuo and Lu Bu should be true, but there is no evidence whether this "maid" is The Story Of Diu Sim or not. The Story Of Diu Sim's name and deeds are only described in literary works and unofficial history. Therefore, The Story Of Diu Sim, like Lin Daiyu, is just a symbol of literary works, and the character The Story Of Diu Sim may be invented by Luo Guanzhong, but there is no real person. In addition, the current 12 copies of Romance of the Three Kingdoms were made by Mao Lun and Mao Zonggang and his son during the reign of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty, adding or deleting words and modifying them. Therefore, the story of the Three Kingdoms is really popular among the people, and it should be even later after the Kangxi era of the Qing Dynasty, later than the era of "Lin Daiyu" written by Cao Xueqin. An image of The Story Of Diu Sim, which was not recorded in the "Ancient History" and spread late among the people, is not printed in Lin Daiyu's heart, so it is not surprising that there is no The Story Of Diu Sim in Five Beautiful Songs.
6. The women listed in Five Beautiful Songs from the Spring and Autumn Period to the Sui and Tang Dynasties, if we continue to write, will it be written in Yang Yuhuan, one of the "Four Beautiful Women", which is recorded in the official history and widely circulated among the people? My opinion is negative. First of all, although Yang Yuhuan died tragically in Maweipo in the end, she was given endless favor by the Emperor of the Tang Dynasty during her lifetime, and her scenery was infinite. At this point, Yang Yuhuan should be regarded as a "happy woman", which is quite different from the tragic fate of the five women listed by Lin Daiyu. Secondly, the return of the 27th chapter of A Dream of Red Mansions is "A butterfly is played by Yang Fei in a dripping pavilion, and a swallow in a fragrant house is weeping and dying", and the author compares Xue Baochai to Yang Guifei. In the thirtieth round, Jia Baoyu saw "Baochai's plump figure, white skin and a crisp white arm", and he was moved by "envy", so he said to Baochai, "No wonder they compared her sister to Princess Yang, so she was afraid of being hot." Baochai said, "I look like Yang Fei, but no good brother can be Yang Guozhong!" At that time, Lin Daiyu was sitting on the side, and Xue Baochai's words compared with Yang Guifei would naturally be printed in Lin Daiyu's mind. Jia Baoyu's lust for Xue Baochai's body further aggravated Lin Daiyu's aversion to Xue Baochai. Thirdly, in A Dream of Red Mansions, Lin Daiyu is very hostile to Xue Baochai: originally, Lin Daiyu and Jia Baoyu were fine, but suddenly Xue Baochai stepped in, and Xue Baochai was easy-going and loved by everyone, which overshadowed Lin Daiyu to a great extent. Lin Daiyu disliked and even hated Xue Baochai very much from the bottom of her heart. Therefore, Lin Daiyu will not write Yang Guifei (Xue Baochai's comparison) into Eight Beautiful Songs or Ten Beautiful Songs if she continues to write Five Beautiful Songs and is not disturbed by Jia Baoyu, no matter whether she is from a public point of view or with a private mind.
Appreciation of Poetry
An effective example of Dong Shi comes from Zhuangzi, which is allegorical; The plot written in Miscellanies of Xijing that Zhao Jun refused to bribe the painter so that he was not known by Yuan Di was only a legend. As for the image of Hong Fu from Biography of the Campus Guest, it has been artistically processed by the legendary author. The discussion in the poem satirizes the present through the ancient times and is made for the realistic feelings. Daiyu lamented that the beauty of "a generation of beautiful city" flowed like a river flowing eastward, and the waves faded away, and the empty memory family could not return. The misfortune of her fate was far above the "Dongcun girl" who was wearing a white head and was wearing a gauze. This was a sad story about her sending herself to Jia's house, where she had no relatives, and feeling that she would be ill for a long time. Qing Bu and Peng Yue, who despises capriciousness, struggles for glory and is willing to get a humiliating end, feel that Yu Meiren is not as good as "drinking the sword" in Chu account, which is to entrust her with her own wish of "cleaning up the quality, better than being trapped in a ditch". She mocked the Han Yuan Emperor for his abdication of power and taking orders from painters, showing her independent character of refusing to be pushed around by others. She felt sorry for Green Pearl and complained about Shi Chong. She thought that Shi Chong's favor with Pearl and Jade Kirara during his lifetime was not enough for Green Pearl to repay him with death when he was in danger. It can also be seen that he focused on emotional feelings in love and had a tacit understanding in spirit. She admires Hong Fu's resourcefulness and courage, and can be free from the "fetters" of the power of the prime minister and feudal ethics, which more prominently shows her bold pursuit of the ideal of free and happy life. Does what is sung in the poem also have some care with the plot of the novel? This is a problem that can be studied. Five poems are all about death or separation, and some of them also involve being arrested or convicted, which seems to be no accident. The theme of the last poem seems to be far away from the plot of the novel, but some terms are like puns, such as "knowing the end of the road" Hong Fu ran away without being detained by yangfu, a "corpse with residual gas". Didn't Dai Yu finally leave Jia Fu, a "corpse with residual gas", and return to the heaven of hate? Of course, under the condition of few existing materials, it is not easy to clarify the author's intention exactly. Incidentally, there is an early comment on writing in the preface of Qi and the book of Jia Chen that "Five Beautiful Songs are compared with the later Ten Duyin." There is no poem written by Baochai or Xiangyun in the second half of the lost manuscript in the last forty chapters of Ten Duyin. Judging from the title of the poem, it is probably based on the worries of ten lonely women in ancient history, such as widows, abandoned wives, nuns and women who left their husbands, to write the realistic feelings at that time. The so-called "contrast" is not limited to poetry.
