4. Correct charging method
The battery used by PSP is a lithium battery. Unlike mobile phones, PSP batteries do not Due to the memory effect, there is no need to charge for dozens of hours for the first time. It can be fully charged in about 3 hours. After full charging, the PSP will automatically cut off the external power supply, so there is no need to worry about burning the phone.
The PSP battery supports instant charging and use. It can be charged at any time and can be charged while playing without affecting the battery life at all.
When fully charged, you can play games for 4 hours and listen to music for about 5 hours. There will be a slight heat around the battery board when online. This is normal. It can be online for about 3 hours when fully charged.
Note 1: The battery should be charged in the PSP, or with the original SONY charger. Charging with any third-party charger may lock the battery, so it is not recommended. Everyone uses third-party chargers.
Note 2: PSP2000 supports USB charging, which will not have any side effects on the PSP. This is an officially allowed function. However, the power of USB charging is very small. This is mainly to prevent data damage caused by power outage during data transmission. Please use the original USB cable we provide for USB charging. We do not recommend using the dual-purpose USB cable for charging. It is easy to cause damage to PSP.
