1994 In the summer, Zhang Baoshu walked at the foot of a mountain named "Qingshan" in Anhui Province in the scorching sun for a whole day. According to legend, the stones in that area were often made into musical instruments in ancient times and have always been regarded as famous products. So he came to look for traces and looked around in the fields. In front of and behind the house, there were dozens of farmers scattered at the foot of the mountain. Inadvertently, on the dirt mountain behind a farmhouse, I found a strange stone exposed on the ground, so I immediately consulted farmers to dig it out. Finally, I unearthed a boulder weighing five or six hundred Jin, with natural patterns of peaks, valleys and cliffs on it, which can make various sounds when hitting different parts, either crisp or vigorous or high or low. Zhang Baoshu named it "Ringing Stone".
1995 Just after the Spring Festival, Zhang Baoshu started again. After getting off the train in Xuzhou, I took a long-distance bus for more than two hours and arrived at Jiuding Village. Another stone was found on a nearby hillside. After it was unearthed, everyone present said it looked like a rooster announcing the dawn. Zhang Baoshu was stunned. Isn't this "China territory"? He was excited by the unexpected harvest, so he found many novel stones in succession, rented five cars for shipment and returned to Tianjin. This 3-ton stone looks like a rooster and is praised by Zhang Baoshu as the "China Stone" in the city garden.
Zhang Baoshu said that he would like to thank his wife for helping him realize this lifelong dream. I remember that the couple went to Guichi, Anhui Province for treasure hunting, taking tractors, taking mountain roads and climbing cliffs. They bumped in the mountains for a long time, and their bones were falling apart. Before I got to my destination, I knocked my wife out and fainted on the mountain. After the wife woke up, the couple continued to search in the mountains.
In this way, I went around tirelessly, and the stones collected by Zhang Baoshu have been piled up in my son's garage. 1995, Zhang Baoshu began to lease an abandoned piece of land in the garbage transfer station in Shuang Gang Town, Jinnan District, and built a garden named "China Stone Garden" after filling it up.
