Fighting and Defeating the Buddha - The title of Buddha conferred by the Buddha after Sun Wukong obtained the Western Sutra can be said to praise Sun Wukong for being invincible in battle and protecting Tang Monk along the way to obtain the Sutra. His name can be seen in some Buddhist scriptures .

Sun Wukong has four names. They are called "Stone Monkey", "Sun Wukong", "Monkey" and "Walker" respectively. The four names represent his four periods. From these four periods, we can see the growth and evolution of talents and get some inspiration from them.

When he was called "Stone Monkey", it was when he was young and troubled. He is carefree and plays all day long. Although he is already the leader of a group of monkeys, strictly speaking, he has not truly become a talent. Finally one day, when he realized that it would be difficult to assume the responsibility of the leader of Huaguoshan without real talent and learning, he resolutely chose the path of studying abroad.

When he was called "Sun Wukong", it was the period when he was studying hard. For the simple reason of "immortality", he went through all kinds of hardships and came to "Lingtai Fangcun Mountain". There, he spent more than ten years of hard life, practicing hard day and night, studying hard, and learning almost everything. In his own words, he was "doing a lot of digging" (this laid the foundation for his future high martial arts and magical powers). The basics), so he won the love of his teacher. Grandmaster Bodhi saw that he was humble and eager to learn, and "a child can be taught", so he opened a small stove for him and taught him real kung fu - "Soaring Cloud Technique" and "Seventy-two Transformations".

When he was called "Monkey", it was the period when he was "making havoc in heaven". After completing his studies, he gradually became complacent. He felt that being the leader of Huaguo Mountain was no longer satisfying enough and wanted to be a "big official". So he snatched the Dragon King's "Sea-Suppressing Needle" and forcibly changed the "Life and Death" of King Yama. ", and then stole peaches and caused havoc in the Heavenly Palace... There is certainly an objective reason for the Jade Emperor's improper employment, but his high self-esteem and lawlessness are also factors that cannot be ignored. No matter how powerful a person is, his personal power is limited after all. Even though he has vast supernatural powers, he will never be able to overcome the Tathagata's five-finger barrier. In the end, he was severely punished and was imprisoned under the Five Elements Mountain for five hundred years by Tathagata.

When he was called "Walker", it was the period when he went to the West to learn Buddhist scriptures. After severe punishment, Guanyin's teachings, and a long period of reflection on his own, he finally woke up from his setbacks (of course, "discipline", that is, the constraints of a tight mantra, also played a big role). From then on, together with his master and junior disciples, he resisted all kinds of temptations, overcame all kinds of dangers, and went through ninety-nine and eighty-one difficulties, and finally obtained the true scriptures, achieved enlightenment, and "became a Buddha immediately."

In addition, Sun Wukong also has the names Monkey King, Monkey King, and Bima Wen.
