Brief introduction of red lion head
Hongshitou walnut, now produced in Laishui, Hebei Province (Huguozhuang, Nan 'anzhuang, Xi 'anzhuang and other villages), is an artificially cultivated walnut, and its wild original tree is in Laishui Mountain area, Hebei Province. "Red Lion Head" is a new variety on the market in recent years. This variety was grafted as early as 0 1 and survived the next year. The fruit was basically produced in 2003, but the output in 2004 was not high. By 2006, all the red lion heads add up 1000. Only a few trees. There was no name when the fruit was produced in 2004. Although the dermatoglyphics were first-class, the appearance was not very good because of the bad female parent, and the pile was tall and sharp. After 2006, the last batch of grafted red lions began to bear fruit. Because the female parent of this batch is better, the walnut piles produced are shorter and classified as lion heads. Because this kind of walnut skin is red, it is easy to turn red when used, so it is named red lion head.
