Homemade pitaya buns

Prepare ingredients

Dragon fruit, high-gluten flour, low-gluten flour, yeast, butter, taro, purple sweet potato, sugar

The method is as follows

① Peel taro and purple sweet potato, cut into cubes and steam them, add some milk and sugar and press into puree.

② Beat dragon fruit into juice, take 140g + 250g high-gluten flour + 3g yeast + 15g sugar and knead into a ball, then add 25g butter and knead into a film.

③ Divide the dough into small pieces, wrap the fillings, follow the triangular bun method, see Figure 5, tighten the mouth, and ferment in a warm place until doubled in size.

④ Place the snowflake mold on the bread, sprinkle with a layer of low-gluten flour, put it in the preheated oven, and bake at 175 for about 15 minutes.

Tips

The amount of sugar depends on personal preference; this bread only needs one fermentation; pay attention to the coloring process during baking, as small bread requires less time.
