I. Remedial measures
Most people fail to brew lotus root starch because the water temperature is not enough or there is too little or too much water. The cooked lotus root starch is just like water, and there is no thick feeling at all. At this time, we can directly put the lotus root starch in a non-stick pan and continue to heat it slowly until the lotus root starch inside becomes thicker and thicker, or we can put it in a microwave oven for 30 seconds to one minute, so that the lotus root starch will become thicker and thicker.
Second, sugar taro seedlings
Lotus root starch can be used not only for brewing, but also for making other delicacies. For example, the famous Nanjing snack Sugar taro Miao is made of lotus root starch. First, we peel the taro and cut it into small pieces. Then we put water in the pot, cook the taro in the pot until soft and rotten, and add two spoonfuls of brown sugar. Cooking activities take about 20 minutes. Add a little cold water to lotus root powder and stir well. Pour the prepared lotus root starch directly into the pot and keep stirring in one direction until the soup inside becomes thicker and thicker. Finally, we put some sweet-scented osmanthus sauce or dried sweet-scented osmanthus in it.
Third, lotus root starch osmanthus sugar cake
We mix 400 grams of glutinous rice flour, 40 grams of starch, 60 grams of lotus root starch and 20 grams of sugar evenly, pour 250 grams of hot water and 30 grams of cold water to make a paste, pour the prepared batter directly into the mold until it is eight minutes full, boil a proper amount of boiling water in water, steam the batter in a pot for 25 minutes, pour a few spoonfuls of osmanthus sauce, and steam it for about 2-3 minutes.
