Hengyang Normal University (Hengyang Normal University), referred to as "Hengyang Normal University", is located in Hengyang City, Hunan Province. It is a public full-time undergraduate college in Hunan Province approved by the Ministry of Education.

The school’s history began with the Hunan Government South Road Normal School founded in 1904. In March 1999, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Hengyang Normal College and Hengyang Education College merged to form Hengyang Normal College.
