The Crimson Witch is a superhero of American Marvel Comics. It was jointly created by screenwriter Stan Lee and painter Jack Kirby, and made its debut in the 4th issue of X-Men (March 1964). Real name is Wanda Django Maximoff.
Her adoptive parents are Mr. and Mrs. Maksimov. Marvel Comics originally set Wan Ciwang as his father. Max (Wan Ciwang's original name) witnessed the local people killing his first daughter Anya in a country in Eastern Europe. He killed the people around him angrily. Wan Ciwang's wife Magda was afraid of her husband and ran away from him. She was pregnant at this time. After entering Wandage Mountain, she stayed in a hut, where a cow-headed woman Bova lived and took Magda in. Magda gave birth to a daughter and a son (the first son is Kuaiyin) under the care of Bowa, who inherited the hair colors of her mother and father respectively, and named them Wanda and Pietro.
On the night when the crimson witch was born, Chthon, an ancient evil god who was banished to another space, tried to return to the real world through a tunnel in the mountains. A fierce battle took place on Wandage Mountain, which was repelled by forces such as high evolutionists. However, Chthon instilled chaos magic into Wanda, who was just born, when he retreated from the earth, and used her as the host to attack the earth again in the future.
Magda abandoned her children and left without saying goodbye, leaving Wanda and Petro in the care of Pova, but after all, the races are different. Pova originally planned to leave Wanda and Petro in the care of an American couple who came to Wandage Mountain to ask for help from highly evolved people. They were the heroes of World War II (Whizzer) and Miss America. However, Miss America died with her children due to dystocia. After hearing the news of her wife's death, Feichi lost her mind and ran down the mountain frantically and disappeared.
There was no choice but to give two children to Maksimov, a childless gypsy at the foot of the mountain. Maksimov named the babies, the crimson witch named Wanda Django Maximoff and Kuaiyin named pietro maximoff. In order to live a quiet life, the Maksimov family left Wandage Mountain with Wanda and Pietro, and started a wandering life, so the brothers and sisters who grew up never knew their own life. It was not until Wanda and Pietro were teenagers that they ran away from home together because their super powers were incompatible with real life and planned to travel around the world.
The crimson witch and Kuaiyin in the comic version first joined their father Wan Ciwang's mutant brotherhood, then turned over a new leaf and joined The Avengers. She fell in love with Vision, a robot who is also a superhero, and married him.
As a mutant, the crimson witch's initial superpower is the probability of modification, and the superpower used in later fights is chaos magic, which was given by Chthon, the demon king, when she was born. Chaos magic in comics has the same top skills as phoenix force in modifying reality and manipulating matter and energy.
She is an Omega-level mutant. According to Professor X, Omega-level mutants refer to those with unlimited potential, and they are also referred to as the ultimate threat. Because her ability can't be completely controlled by her own consciousness, when the crimson witch is psychologically stimulated, once she has a mental breakdown, her ability will dominate her consciousness and produce the effect of extinction, which is similar to that of phoenix force. As long as it breaks out, she will kill God with God and Buddha with Buddha. In the cartoon, she can create an army out of thin air, even resurrect a magical person (one of Marvel superheroes), and have a complete family with a robot illusion in order to live a quiet life. She can also create a child with illusion by magic, and she can be tired of being a mutant. Before using chaotic magic to restore the world, she said, "There are no mutants", which made most mutants on the earth lose their ability. Even in the peak period, you can fight with five hosts in phoenix force with one enemy at the same time, once defeating a single Phoenix messenger.
The crimson witch first appeared in the ending egg of Captain America 2 in 214. In the movie, the crimson witch and Kuaiyin were set as ordinary human beings on earth, and were taken to Hydra base by Baron Ristok for superhuman experiments, and they gained super powers through spiritual gems. At first, they couldn't control their abilities because they didn't know much about their abilities. It's the same as the Six-pulse Excalibur in Duan Yu's "Dragon and Eight Branches". In The Avengers 2: Ultron Era, the performance is closer to realization. The scarlet witch is just like a girl who just entered the society. She is a child in the eyes of the reunion hero. In the war with Ultron, especially her brother Kuaiyin was shot by Ultron, and the scarlet witch was directly forced. It wasn't Hawkeye who enlightened at the critical moment, but it was estimated that he got a box lunch in "Reunion 2".
In Reunion 2, the strength of the crimson witch has also been preliminarily demonstrated. First, she used her own ability to control all the reunion heroes and let them see the terrible future. Then she avenged her brother in the final war with Ultron and dug out Ultron's heart in a rage, from which we can see that the strength of the crimson witch is at least not below that of the superheroes in Reunion 2.
In The Avengers 3: Infinite War and Avengers: Endgame, the crimson witch has completely mastered her superpowers, and her strength has been fully demonstrated. For example, in the 3-watt Kanda War of Reunification, he controlled the giant gear attack weapon launched by the Thanos army with one hand; At the end of the movie, in order to prevent Thanos from taking away the spiritual gem from the illusion head, he resisted Thanos's attack with one hand and destroyed the spiritual gem with the other. How can the reunited heroes in the movie do it at this time?
It's even more awesome in "Reunion 4". After being resurrected by the Hulk's ring, the crimson witch joined the final battle. When she organized Thanos to snatch the infinite gloves, she broke out with all her strength, trapped Thanos in the air with magic and almost tore it, and Thanos was powerless to fight back. If Thanos hadn't ordered the warship to launch an indiscriminate saturation attack, it is estimated that she would have received a box lunch at this time. At this time, the strength of the crimson witch is at least above the hero in all movies.
