Two. Brief introduction of the author

Badashanren: Zhu Da (1626—— about 1705) was a painter and master of Chinese painting in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. The real name is Tui, the word Xuege, and the number is Badashanren, Geshan, Renwu and Dao Lang. Han nationality, Nanchang, Jiangxi.

There were many literary celebrities in the early Qing Dynasty, and Badashanren was the most attractive one. He is a monk who has been practicing for many years, and his poems, books and paintings are often deep and secluded. He behaves strangely, sometimes crazy, sometimes speechless, sometimes extremely normal; He was born in a special family, a descendant of the Ming royal family, and the ninth grandson of Zhu Quan, the seventeenth son of Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty. Since birth, he has been burdened with the pain of the decline of his home country.

After the death of the Ming Dynasty, Badashan people became monks, converted to Taoism and lived in Daoyuan, a scenic spot in Qingyunpu Scenic Resort, Nanchang. They have lived in the mountains for decades, staying with rocks and plants day and night, taking the sun, the moon and the stars as friends, and seeing all the storms, thunder and lightning, the change of seasons and the changes of the world.

According to legend, Badashan people suffer from "epilepsy" and have many seizures in their lives. Some people say he is crazy, others say he pretends to be crazy. History books often say that he is dumb, and some people say that he is pretending to be dumb. But most people prefer to believe that the reason why he pretends to be crazy and sells stupidity is because the country is ruined and the grief and indignation cannot be caused by himself.

In fact, the madness and dumb of Badashan people are hereditary diseases in the family. According to records, Badashanren's grandfather was wild. His talent is outstanding, but his behavior is unusual. He likes to visit famous mountains and rivers, and often goes alone, writing poems and carving them on stones according to the situation, saying that he should let future generations know that he once existed.

In his later years, Badashan people stayed in Beilan Temple and Kaiyuan Temple near Nanchang. He is not good at managing his own life. He often goes wherever he wants, splashing ink on paintings, and people who take paintings often don't realize the true value of paintings.

Later, Badashan people built a simple house not far from Beilan Temple, named "Gecaotang". They still paint and sell paintings, and live a hard and desolate life. At the age of 79, they died alone.
