When did Gan Long die?
Gan Long was born on 17 1 1 August 13, and died on the third day of the first month of 1799 at the age of 89 (less than 88). He was the longest-lived emperor in the feudal dynasty. Doctors also believe that he died of natural causes [1A]. Did he really die of natural causes? Let's analyze this. First of all, judging from the year of death, in the Qing Dynasty in the18th century, 89 was indeed a long-lived age. But is the death at the age of 89 necessarily a natural death? Isn't human life span less than 90 years? The answer is obviously no, since ancient times, people over 90 years old can be seen everywhere, such as Sun Simiao, a medical scientist in Tang Dynasty, 14 1 year old, Gong Tingxian, a medical scientist in Ming Dynasty, 97 years old, and Song Meiling, 106 year old. There are many examples of such old people in modern society. For example, Gan, a doctor of traditional Chinese medicine, was born in 19 12 and 19 16. They are all working now. Obviously, aging does not depend on its birth age, but also on its physical age and psychological age. It depends on his specific physical condition: whether all the organs of his body are weak and hopeless. Emperor Qianlong advocated martial arts, with superior environment, cheerful personality and strong body, and almost never had any illness in his life. 1798 (88 years old) 1 On the first day of February, I started to take Shengmai Drink, and I took Shengmai Drink (Ginseng1branch, Ophiopogon japonicus 2 branches) for 359 times, including ginseng for 3729 times. Later, I went to Yin Zhen Shen Yu Decoction (one ginseng, five rehmannia roots, four white peony roots, five tortoise plastron, two bamboo shavings in San Qian, and two pinellia in San Qian), Deng Xin Zhu Ye Decoction and Wenzhong Liqi Pill. Until the death is diagnosed, the pulse is peaceful, and/or words such as "flustered, weak, tired, trance, sometimes weak, lack of sleep at night, restless dreams". On the second day of the first month of 1799 (89 years old) before his death, Doctor Tai diagnosed that the holy pulse was peaceful, but he was deficient in qi and spleen. He took Ginseng Lotus Drink (one yuan for Ginseng, five yuan for Jianlian) four times, and six yuan for Ginseng. Died on the third morning. This is an example of eating raw wheat and eating to death. How can an 88-year-old man with weak heart, weak body, trance, little sleep at night and restless dreams have a holy vein? Such a person is obviously a person with yang deficiency and qi deficiency, and his pulse should be thin and weak. Except ginseng, all the medicines given to Emperor Qianlong are yin-nourishing cold medicines, such as Ophiopogon japonicus, bamboo leaves, Radix Rehmanniae, Radix Paeoniae Alba, Carapax et Plastrum Testudinis and bamboo shavings. "Angelica sinensis" is used in a large group of cold medicines. Even astragalus, warm dried ginger and Shiquan Dabu decoction, which tonify qi, have never been used, let alone Shenfu drink. An old man with qi deficiency and yang deficiency will not eat bad or die if he takes cold medicine for a long time (one year). Died in the severe winter. This is also a proof of yang deficiency. It's really a bit positive to be sent to the palace, so we should use the sweet taste to consolidate the foundation. Sweet and warm is good for colds, comparable to laughing at the mistakes of quacks. Overcuring is certainly not a quack. According to the constitution of Qianlong, if treated properly, it should be no problem to live for a few more years or even more than ten years. Therefore, the death of Emperor Qianlong was not the death of old age, but the death of "malpractice". It shows that Shengmai drink can't cure diseases and prolong life.
