The origin of the name
Xinjiang was called the Western Region in ancient times, and the word "Western Region" specifically refers to the geographical scope of Xinjiang, which lasted from ancient times to the reign of the Middle Leaf Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty.
Before the Qing army entered the customs, its territory was limited to the northeast of China. After entering the customs, most of China was quickly unified. But in some areas, its rule was finally established after years of repetition. In the early Qing Dynasty, several generations of emperors took it as their duty to unify China.
