When many parents choose names for their children, they would like to know the number of people with the same name across the country, hoping that the baby's name will not be the same as too many people. Or some friends simply want to know if there are many people with the same name as them across the country, so how do they check for duplicate names?
The Public Security Bureau officially provides an online query system for the number of people with the same name and the same name in China (see the end of the article for the query URL).
Query method:
Enter the Public Security Bureau’s China Duplicate Name Query System wizard page and click "Query the number of people with the same name".
In the pop-up window, select "Nationwide" and click "Confirm".
At this time, the login interface will pop up. If you want to query, you must log in first. Assuming you have registered before, you can log in by entering your mobile phone number or ID number, password, and verification code. If you have not registered an account before, click "User Registration".
After clicking "User Registration", you will enter the "Personal Registration" interface and enter personal information as required, such as ID number, user name, mobile phone number, login password, etc. (without * can be left blank).
When you are finished, click "Register".
Subsequently, real-name authentication is required, and registration will be successful only after real-name authentication.
After completing the registration, log in with the account you just registered. When logged in, click on the "Check the number of people with the same name" mentioned at the beginning of the article to enter the domestic duplicate name query system.
Fill in the name you want to query, check the gender, fill in the verification code, and click OK to get the results.
The picture below is the result of my random query for a name.
China has a large population, but the number of frequently used Chinese characters is not endless, and it is inevitable to have the same name. A name is just a code name. If you deliberately choose some uncommon words in order to avoid duplication of names, you will ignore the essentials and even cause trouble. Try to think about the embarrassment of others wanting to call you by name but not knowing how to say it, or wanting to write your name but not knowing how to write it. Therefore, when naming, there is no need to require absolute names to be different. As long as the relative names are different, for example, if you don't encounter them that often and there are no duplicates among the people you know, that is enough.
