Su Qin came to Qin State and asked to see Ying Si for something important, but was turned away by the guards and asked him to speak with his policy. Wei Ran returned to Xianyang to see Mi Yue. The two siblings had not seen each other for several years and expressed their feelings to each other. Wei Ran left, and Mi Yue felt a little melancholy. King Qin asked her to go to Chengming Hall to help sort and sort out strategies to comfort her. Mi Shu planned to give the dowry jade pendant given by Queen Wei to Ying Ji, but Pearl and Coral were very dissatisfied with this. Mi Shu asked to see Ying Si and said that she wanted to read policy papers with Mi Yue to share the country's worries. Ying Si agreed. Mi Shu and Mi Yue looked through the policy papers together. Mi Yue unexpectedly discovered Meng Ying's letter in Su Qin's strategy.

Episode 42

Yingsi and the ministers were discussing the war at Hangu Pass. Miyue and Mishu came to see Meng Ying with a letter. After seeing it, Ying Si immediately summoned Su Qin and learned from Su Qin that the life and death of Meng Ying's mother and son was at stake. Mi Yue suggested that Ying Si could send a team of Qingqi to sneak into South Korea in disguise and bring back Meng Ying's mother and son. The future of the Yan Kingdom would be in Ying Si's hands. This idea was approved by Ying Si. Meng Ying was taken back to Qin, but his son Yingzhi was kidnapped by Zhao on the way. Meng Ying begged Ying Si to save her son, but Ying Si refused and asked her to focus on the overall situation. Meng Ying left heartbroken. Meng Ying took his belongings to see Su Qin and thanked him for sending letters across thousands of miles. Su Qin refused to accept it, and Meng Ying couldn't help but look at him differently. Seeing Meng Ying's feelings for Su Qin, Mi Shu had something to say to Meng Ying and deliberately provoked a relationship between Meng Ying and Mi Yue. Su Qin's strategies have always been in vain, and he had no money to pay the rent, so he had to give his only mink fur to the waiter.

Episode 43

Su Qin planned to leave Xianyang. When he learned that Meng Ying had lost his son, he offered her a clever plan. Meng Ying reported to Ying Si, who believed that Su Qin was indeed talented and agreed to send someone to recover him. Mi Shu came to see Ying Si and advised him never to recover Su Qin, and told Ying Si the reasons Mi Yue told her that day as her own opinion. Ying Si praised Mi Shu highly. Meng Ying misunderstood that it was Mi Yue's fault and felt grudge against her. Good news came from Hangu Pass. Wei Ran had made great achievements. Ying Si planned to make him General Bi and give him a title. Ying Dang and Ying Zhuang were injured on horseback. Mi Shu deliberately highlighted Ying Dang's bravery and Ying Zhuang's cowardice in front of Ying Si. Ying Si loved Ying Dang sincerely and offered to let him study in Chengming Palace. Mi Shu showed off to Mi Yue how much Ying Si valued Ying Dang. Mi Yue kindly reminded her to pay attention to Ying Dang's hostility, which made Mi Shu unhappy.

Episode 44

Ying Si planned to personally lead troops to attack Yiqu. Mi Shu recommended Jing to accompany him, but Ying Si chose Mi Yue, which made Mi Shu feel disappointed. Mi Yue and Sima Cuo went to the Yiqu camp to persuade King Yiqu to surrender. Under Mi Yue's patient persuasion, King Yiqu finally agreed to become a vassal of Qin. In the Yiqu camp, Mi Yue found the wolf cub that had grown into an adult. Mi Yue named the cub Bai Qi. Mi Yue surrendered and Yi Qu was persuaded. Under Mi Yue's arrangement, Bai Qi followed Wei Ran and joined the army. Ying Si was bitten by a poisonous insect on the grassland and became ill. But at this time, news of the chaos in the Yan Kingdom came. Regardless of his illness, Ying Si planned to send troops with the Zhao Kingdom immediately to send Meng Ying's mother and son to Yan. When Mi Yue returned to Qin, she went to see Mrs. Ying first. The prince was elected as king by the people of Yan, and Meng Ying was appointed as regent by his mother. Mi Yue told Mrs. Ying about her misunderstanding with Meng Ying, and then she learned that Meng Ying had always been interested in Su Qin, and she couldn't help but feel guilty.

Episode 45

The Qin court began to discuss the establishment of a crown prince again, and Gan Mao promised Mi Shu to fully support Ying Dang in the establishment of a crown prince. Chu Liji paid a visit to Ying Si and used the example of King You of Zhou to persuade Ying Si to establish his legitimate son Ying Dang as the heir apparent as soon as possible. However, Ying Si believed that the position of the prince was established too early, which would easily allow those with different ideas to take advantage of him. Ying Dang bullies Ying Tong and Ying Ji and wants to steal their birds. Ying Hua appeared and taught Ying Dang a lesson. Mi Yue thanked Ying Hua for speaking out and fighting injustice. This scene happened to be seen by Mi Shu. Mi Shu sent someone to invite Mi Yue and tried her best to win over her. Mi Shu took the opportunity to let Ying Dang practice military tactics in front of Ying Si, hoping that Ying Si would look at him differently. Unexpectedly, the wooden ball during the exercise fell into the pit. Ying Ji came up with a way to use the power of water to float the wooden ball, which was greatly praised by Ying Si. Mi Shu felt depressed, hating that she had worked hard for many days to make a wedding dress for someone else.

Ying Si missed Mi Yue and asked Mi Yue to send two sachets to Chengming Hall at night. Ying Dang went to Wei Yan's Pixiang Hall all day long, which made Mi Shu very angry.

Episode 51

Ying Si told Mi Yue that he hoped to establish the talented and intelligent Ying Ji as the prince. However, Mi Yue declined because of Ying Ji's weak temperament and lack of decision-making. She believed that Wei Yan's son Ying Hua was the best candidate to be crown prince. Ying Dang repeatedly expressed his love to Wei Yi. Mi Shu rushed to Pixiang Hall and blamed Wei Yi for seducing the king and Ying Dang. Ying Dang was so angry that she jumped out and accused her mother Mi Shu of being arrogant and unreasonable. Mi Shu and Ying Dang had a falling out, and Wei Yi gave Wei Yan an idea: if he could marry Ying Dang, he could not only make Ying Dang obey Wei Yan's words, but also use this to coerce Mi Shu. Wei Yan was moved and decided to facilitate the marriage. Ying Dang used the marriage between Qin and Wei as an excuse to ask his father for permission to marry Wei Yi. Ying Si was hesitant about this, and Mi Yue asked Ying Si to do what she wanted. Ying Si, Chu Liji and Mrs. Ying discussed the matter of the crown prince, and Ying Si finally issued an order to make his legitimate son Ying Dang the crown prince. Mi Shu cried with joy.

Episode 52

Ying Dang and Wei Yi got married. The army reported that the situation in Shu was tense and the Marquis of Shu, Ying Huan, was killed. Ying Si discussed the matter with the ministers, and Sima Cuo, Zhang Yi, and Yong Rui advocated the immediate recovery of Shu. Due to the many previous quarrels, Ying Dang deliberately humiliated Ying Tong and took him back to the palace and tortured him in every possible way. Ying Tong was extremely aggrieved and resentful. Fan Chang envoy went to Jiaofang Hall to ask Mi Shu to leave a way for his son to survive. Mi Shu blamed Fan Changshi for pampering Ying Tong too much. The maid came to report that Ying Tong had hanged himself. Fan Changshi fainted. Ying Dang knew he was guilty and knelt down outside the hall as punishment. After Ying Tong died, Commander Fan found Ying Si and confessed that Mi Shu was the culprit of the killer bees. He deliberately concealed the truth out of cowardice at the time. Ying Si was furious and ordered people to immediately seal up Jiaofang Palace and hand over all those related to the palace for interrogation. Mi Shu suspected that Mi Yue was behind the incident and was worried that the maid Coral would betray her.

Episode 53

Ying Si summoned Mi Yue and told her that if Mi Shu was really the mastermind, he planned to depose the queen and personally interrogate Mi Shu's maid Coral. Mi Shu's close confidant Feng Jia bribed the jailer and asked Coral to commit suicide, but Ying Si found no evidence. Zhang Yi believed that the queen should be dismissed for being immoral and the prince should be replaced for being incompetent. It was difficult for Ying Si to make a decision. Ying Si announced that Ying Ji had advanced to Chengming Hall. Ying Dang was extremely jealous and took people to Chengming Hall to teach Ying Ji a lesson. Inspector Mu was injured while protecting Ying Ji. Ying Si arrived and scolded Ying Dang for being unreasonable. Ying Dang made excuses in every possible way, and Ying Si was so angry that he vomited blood and fell to the ground. Ying Si was seriously ill, and the princes outside the palace rushed back to the palace after receiving the news. Qi Liji believed that if Ying Si insists on deposing Ying Dang and making Ying Ji the crown prince, it may cause turmoil in the country. Yingsi knew that the overall situation was decided, so he had no choice but to draw up an imperial edict, ordering the prince to be in charge of the country. The left prime minister, Qili, assisted him quickly, and all the princes in the palace who had not been enfeoffed were immediately enfeoffed. Ying Ji was granted the title of Marquis of Shu, and his mother Mi Yue followed Ying Ji to the fiefdom, and issued an order to announce that Mrs. Ying would be admitted to serve the sick.

Episode 54

Knowing that time was running out, Ying Si entrusted Mrs. Ying with a silk letter drawn up by herself. When prisoner Mu was taking the silk book, he was seen by Feng Jia. Ying Si summoned Mi Yue alone. On her deathbed, Mi Yue cried and played Feng Xiao for him for the last time. In 311 BC, King Qin Ying Si passed away, and his posthumous title was King Qin Huiwen. After Ying Si's death, he was succeeded by Prince Ying Dang, who was known as King Wu of Qin in history. Feng Jia reported to Mi Shu that he had seen Inspector Mu mysteriously hand something to Ying Si before he died, and suspected that it was a posthumous edict. Mi Shu ordered Feng Jia to find out where the edict was. Feng Jia drugged Mu Jian's mung bean soup and forced him to reveal the whereabouts of the edict. Mu Jian would rather die than spit it out. Mi Shu summoned Mi Yue and burned Ying Si's edict of enfeoffing Ying Ji in person, and ordered Mi Yue to hand over another edict. Mi Yue lamented that she had met the wrong person over the years. Mi Shu blamed Mi Yue for recommending Ying Hua to be the crown prince when the princes were competing for the throne. Mi Shu was even more resentful of Ying Si's doting on Mi Yue's mother and son for many years, and Mi Yue was speechless. Mi Shu was worried that Mi Yue and her son would pose a threat to her and Ying Dang if they stayed, and planned to kill Mi Yue and her son.

Episode 55

Chou Liji tried his best to dissuade Mi Shu from letting Mi Yue, her son and Fan Changshi be buried for Ying Si. Queen Wei Yi proposed that Mi Yue be sent to another country as a hostage. Qi Liji announced the enfeoffment of the princes in the court, and sent Mi Yue and her son to Yan State as hostages. On the day Mi Yue left Xianyang, Fan Changshi hanged himself in the palace.

Seeing Mi Yue's exile, Ying Si's death, and Ying Dang's stubbornness, Zhang Yi took the initiative to leave Qin. Mi Yue and Ying Ji encountered various difficulties along the way from Du Jin, an official under Mi Shu's command. Fortunately, Wei Ran led someone to rescue them. Mi Shu and Feng Jia found out that the imperial edict might be hidden in Mrs. Ying's house, and went straight to the palace in the northern suburbs to coerce a confession. Fortunately, Chuliji and Yongrui arrived in time. Mi Shu dropped the harsh words and left. Mi Yue and others' convoy entered Zhao State and encountered the troops of Yiqu King Zhai Li. Zhai Li believes that Ying Si is dead and Yiqu no longer needs to be a minister to Qin, so he persuades Mi Yue to return to Yiqu with him, vowing to keep Mi Yue's mother and son safe for the rest of their lives.

Episode 56

Mi Yue is grateful for Zhai Li's sincerity, but she decides to make her own destiny and no longer relies on men. Mi Yue, Ying Ji and his party finally arrived at Jicheng in Yan State and checked into the post house. The icy and snowy climate made everyone feel uncomfortable. Because Huang Xie escaped from marriage, Mi Yin married a few years ago, the Prime Minister of the Yan State, who was more valuable than anyone else. When she heard that Mi Yue and others had become hostages in her hands, she suddenly became vicious. She withheld the credentials handed over by Du Jin and determined to retaliate. Mi Yue paid a lot of money to Han Wu, the postmaster at the post station, and asked him to help deliver a message to Meng Ying; Mi Yin also found Han Wu and asked him to only accept Mi Yue's money, not to deliver news, and to report Mi Yue's whereabouts at any time. Late at night, Han Wu sent someone to set fire to the room where Mi Yue's mother and son lived. Mi Yue and others hurriedly ran for their lives. Kui Gu was severely burned in order to retrieve the newly made cold clothes for Ying Ji. Finally, under the calls of Mi Yue and Ying Ji He closed his eyes forever in the sound.
